Title: extra large pet cage - going free
Post by: tillywilly on July 19, 2008, 14:57:21 PM
I got from Argos  a extra large pet cage to keep my kitten in while he was new to our home.

Now grown I no longer need it, its stuck in the shed, back in its box, I would like to give to a cat charity in my area.  I thought they must need pet cages and they are expensive.
I contacted my local cats Protection but got no response.

So I have a large pet cage - free in the Woking, Camberley, Windsor area in Surrey.

We would love to have this, only recently had to buy one, but we are in Kent.. ? Not sure how much the carriage would be but perhaps that could be sorted out.. ?

Not far at all. Only a few minutes from Whitstable, but I can find out what the best place to take it or drop it too would be... Wow that was abit of luck wasnt it? Are you coming to whitistable for a day out?

Will get back to you and work out where we can drop it off asap.

Coming for the Oyster festival

I'll be in touch shortly

It started yesterday - I think it's on for a week?

There was supposed to be a firework display in the harbour but it was cancelled at the last minute - don't know why

If you are coming for the festival then Mark is right in Whitstable and if Mark was okay perhaps it would save abit of messing around to be dropped off at Marks... If not then plan B...! I have PMed you with a tel number but perhaps you didnt receive it.. Can you let me know whenever you are able pls

not received any new email, absolutely fine to drop off in Whitstable.  we are worried about parking and traffic in the town, mid affternoon time?

I didn't get an email. There is a loading bay outside the vets next door to me but I could be outside at a certain time - if you didn't mind phoning as you got into town, I could wait outside. Parking is notoriously bad in Whitstable in the summer. I don't even go shopping on Fridays as I end up losing my place in the pay & display car park. Are you staying somewhere or just around for the afternoon?

I presume this is now being all sorted? More then happy to drop the pen off at Carolines (she want be in) but can leave it by the patio door, if easiest.. its going to get confusing.. with more people involved. But hopefully it gets down this way on Friday.

Much appreciated

Not sure if this is easier for tillywilly as it is easy to park otside Caroline's house and only 5 minutes out of town (I haven't put exact door number in but it's close to here)

I didn't get an email - Did you get the PM I sent you the other day with Caroline's details?

yes got Carolines address.

Will drop off the cage in the morning (FRi) now.  I have (not many) tins of cat food, and some cat litter I no longer need, would you like these? too.

Absolutly delighted the cage is going to be used, could have sold it on ebay, but would much rather help those little ones in need.
