I have noticed that whenever it is windy Charlie is skittish and careers round the place like a madcat.

LJ (Toby) used to try and duck the wind if he went out when it was windy. :Luv: Other than that, nope they're still demanding, naughty, lovely critters!

Max doesn't go outside, but the sound of the wind certainly drives him crazy, it really whistles around the top of the house, and there's a loose cable which also bangs against the window if its really windy, and it makes him very skittish and wired

Yep, mine get skittish when its windy too - they get that wild look in their eyes and tear about like mad things

We all of us hate the wind. Ruffles our fur, don't ya know.
Have had 2 tornadoes pass way too close by the past couple of weeks. Last Saturday the wind took down 2 of my trees - both huge, mature trees. I, and my chain saw, have spent the past several days trying to clean up. And here it is - another day when severe wind and thunderstorms are predicted and, from the looks of it, will happen.
But, yes, we hate the wind. Even when it's lots milder than it has been lately (but, to be honest, the wind is never 'mild' here!)

Most of my cats have been very skittish when it gets very windy. I haven't noticed it with Sophie so far. She is too busy being scared of our window cleaner

Beavis hates the wind under his fur!

Yup, Hamish and Misty when they were younger, they would have thier Mad half Hours :-:
But If it was Windy :wow: .....Look out !!!   :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

I quickly read the topic and thought it said ''wine'' instead of ''wind''! Yes wine would affect the cats behaviour!
But seriously, yes, Jameson goes skittish when it's windy, and charges around everywhere and tries climbing/getting into places he normally doesn't care about.

Indeed. Lexy looks pretty evil when the wind is strong out. Must be all the smells they get assaulted with since their sense of smell is so much better than ours. Then again what do I know. I find a reason for everything Lexy does cos I know I am still stumped as to why she behaves the way she does :evillaugh:

Leigh, stop blaming the wind on the cats ;)
My Bonnie is a brave one - nothing has changed my lovable little darling. Even when I have workmen in she isn't bothered by the noise.
My smudge was ok if he was inside the house but he would never go out in the wind, loved the snow and didn't mind the rain but if it was windy I had to let him out in the back garden which was more sheltered than the front - a quick wee and he would run like hell back into the house.

My mum used to say they got the "willocky wills" or "the wind up their tales" but they certainly did the wall of death round our landing on particulaly gusty days. :)

It gives Lola the zoomies :scared: :scared:

Bunty and Sofa go crazy in the wind.
