Post by: LeighK on July 16, 2008, 11:03:18 AM
Hi folks,

I'm cooking dinner on Saturday for a couple of friends and prepared some joke menus which a friend has laminated for me  ;D

Oh and the sorbet suprise is one of my favourites, lemon sorbet floating in a mini sea of ice cold vodka

That's really good.  I remember when we had a posh dinner party some years ago and as a joke served our guests jam butties on silver platters for starters! Their faces were a picture, one tucked right in saying nothing, one stated he didn't like jam butties and the rest of the guests were just open mouthed.

Then it should read "complet sans service", surely?

I bought some very nice ice cream bowls in Shabitat yesterday in their sale and then realised that I've run out of paprika, got to get some whilst I'm out shopping today, what a show-stopper that would have been!!!!, I eould have been a laughing stock  ;D

One thing is for sure, nobody ever goes away hungry when I'm cooking, queezy yes, hungry no  ;D must be a Cancerian thing.  ;D
