Any idea how old she is?
-
She's 3 months old and a full staffie :Luv2: The guy is looking after her for a friend until she finds a home, his friend bought her and her mum won't let her keep her :tired: My son has met her and he said she is a little cracker :Luv: :Luv:
-
If she was nearer & ok with cats Id be seriously interested
-

All I know is she's fab with other dogs, the guy has 3 dogs already but can't afford to take on another. He emailed me this morning and said she's also been as good as gold in the night, no mess and no crying :Luv2:

I think a young staffie would need more than a one bed flat wouldn't it?! I'm looking to get a dog, but wasn't really thinking about getting one for another few months and obviously it'd have to be ok with cats xxx

Well folk do have dogs in 1 bed flats even BIG dogs in 1 bed flats....so long as the dog gets the appropriate exercise daily then i dont see a problem........if you or others see a problem with that that im no away of then let me know. Next door to me has a boxer, few doors up had an alsatian before she got rid of ...the usual exscue of havin a baby ...crap .....someone who should never have aniamls
Did foster dogs few years ago i didnt see a problem then as I managed

I could find out for you if you want whether she'd be suitable with cats ;)
-
Whoever gets her will be lucky
-
It's a shame you're not nearer Mags, but I think Scotland would be a little too far for her to be travelling :shy: I even sent the pics to hubby in the hope he'd say we'll take her if you want, but he didn't :sneaky: :evillaugh:
-
Yeh dawn Im well aware i had no chance with herlol
-
Thanks Dawn - if you could perhaps find out what she's like with cats and whether she's housetrained etc. I've never had a dog and was really looking to take on an older rescue dog as I don't want to take on something that I can't handle, but she does look so lovely :Luv2:
-
Andy said she was as good as gold in the night, no mess, whinging or anything :Luv2: I'll find out about the cat situation for you and I do agree, she is lovely :Luv2: :Luv2:

I wish someone would say all this to my OH. We have a 3 bed house, plus a small yard and perfect doggie exercise meadow 200 yards down the road but he STILL won't let me get a doggie! :'( >:(
-
If you send me his email address, I'll sort him out some piccies :evillaugh:
-
That's sneaky... I like it!
PM on it's way. :shify: ;)

Is Lacey still looking for a home Dawn?
-
Oh it doesn't help when my neighbours over the road have just rescued a 7 month old staffy who looks just like Lacey :tired: She ran up to me today and was jumping around and trying to come in the house - she was sooooooooooooo sweet, but kind of made me realise how jumpy they are and how I think a youngster would need a bit more space :( I really want a dog though !!!!!!
-
Thats the problem with most rescues that they dont assess older dogs & those that do dont do it properly. And then you have the rescues that wont rehome an older dog if theres cats/small animals. ...or even to a flat. Iv been thinking/looking for a older dog but cos of the rescues policy which is against me cos Im no chucking out me animals to keep them happy Im now going towards buying a pup but prefer a rescue.

My son has told me that one of his friends has taken her on, she shown piccies of her to her mum and she also went round to see her so it looks like this little girl has found herself a new home :Luv2:
