My Delphi recently wasn't well and the only food she will eat is Applaws at the moment.
I have 5 cats and 3 eat James wellbeloved but I now have 2 cats on applaws and its getting expensive.
If anyone sees any bulk deals on Applaws can you let me know. It would be appreciated.
Im very fussy as to which wet foods to feed.
many thanks x

Zooplus are selling 24 tins on offer at the moment. Not a mixed pack though - you have to buy 24 cans of one flavour.

thats the one thing that puts me off buying from zooplus, you have so many things there that you can buy but only 1 flavour, maybe its just me but I l ike to buy mine variety :scared:
-
sometimes they have offers on multipacks containing differen flavours. I usually end up just buying loads of every flavour though ;D
Be careful of feeding only applaws, philip - it's complementary rather than complete.
-
Yes I know its complimentary and that does worry me.
But I tried may different types and so far Applaws is the only thing Tiffy and Delphi will eat and its a case of I would rather they eat that than turn their nose up and other foods and eat nothing.

You can get similar foods to applaws that are complete, tesco make one. If they eat dry aswell its less of a worry.
You can try the company direct, MPM, for bulk deals but at the time they did only support breeders and retailers with their deals. I asked why i had to contribute to overpopulation to qualify but got no reply :evillaugh: it shouldnt matter what eats my bulk purchase >:( aslong as i pay for it!

Thanks Milly's mum.
Does the Tesco one have a good protein content. Also does the ingredients say meat and animal derivatives or just meat ?
Thanks

I was thinking of contacting Zooplus for the same reason as they offer discounts to rescues and breeders

With zooplus you get 5% off for big orders, code 'stock up' for over £75 ;D
Its chicken, tapioca or rice (different brands vary) with added minerals and vitamins. I dont have a tin here at the moment so cant check it, soz.
Theres also cosma thai range on zooplus but they have more of a ricey gloop with the chicken which my lot are not so keen on. Chicken min 34 % shrimps 3% rice 1% minerals
Trial and error with them but theres lots of variety in that range of food ;D
-
the tesco chicken food is good Philip, a bit like almo nature if you've tried that, there is a new range at pah with a high meat content but haven't managed to get my hands on it yet
MPM offered me breeder status when I used to get my worlds best from them because I had four cats

The meanies didnt me, i dont see why it should matter as long as you buy plenty of their products :Dont know:
Do you mean natures harvest that PAH sell? I thought it was poor, like very dry natures menu
-
the wet food I'm after is the new purely range - there is a thread going about the dry food, I saw it advertised in a cat mag and it looked like it said 40% meat on the tin
-
Saw the other post now, i will need to try the wet too if theres no EC colourants in it :shify:
