Back in 1991, while on holiday in Canada, I came across a wonderful store in Vancouver called Angel.  They create and sell hand-painted T shirts with various designs - I bought one with a killer whale on it.  I subsequently mail-ordered a couple more with different designs.

I have just discovered that (a) Angel is now online and (b) it seems they now paint cat portraits onto various garments.  Check out http://www.angelpaint.com/

I will say that the three garments I have had from them have been superb quality and the T shirt itself wears out before the paint fades.  I've just enquired about current prices - they always used to be very reasonable - so I can let you know what they say if anyone is interested.

Right folks, I just got a reply from Jackie Haliburton, who is the artist who runs Angel.

"I love to paint cats on shirts ,I can work from photos .....my other email is jackiehaliburton[at]hotmail.com email photos are fine...thanks...Jackie Haliburton"

The price she has quoted me for a large size (to wear in a shift-dress-like way) is 69.00 Canadian $ plus shipping.  There are two Canadian dollars to the £ so that means for about £35 plus postage you can walk around in a unique work of art  ;D  I'm definitely going to order one.
