The phone has been non stop today, my head is scrambled, I really need a holiday :tired: I've got more mum's and kittens to sort, all wildies, nowhere to put them but managed to persuade the guy to let one of the mum's go back when spayed. Also had a guy on the phone suffering from his health, has a gorgeous 6 year old Birman, fab with dogs, cats, kids etc and needs a home so if anyone knows of anyone, I should have a piccie soon of him, please let me know :-:
-
what are you're numbers now Dawn?? when was the last time you went on holiday??
-
No holiday for years, not sure on numbers but the ferals will be going back :agree: The only problem I've got is kittens :tired: I've got about 15 feral kittens to sort :oh noo:
-
 Dawn
I wonder if Gill fancies taking on another Birman? :shify:
-
He sounds sooooo scrummy, and poor guy doesn't really want to part but he has other cats as well and everythings a little too much for him :( This little boy has always been an indoor cat so he would have to be indoors :shy:
-
Oh Mark, I saw this thread and thought and then thought again..........I just cant take on another........so very tempting though :(
-
I understand, if we all took in the cats we wanted/felt sorry for, we would be done for hoarding :evillaugh:
I'm the same with Fatipuss - I know OH would kill me :scared:

Anyway, I've managed to trap 4 ferals this afternoon, all are in the vets waiting for their ops tomorrow. I was nearly in tears with one of them, he/she was shaking like a leaf and looked so frightened, this is the part I hate but it's for the best :'( Went to check out another mum and kittens at a vicarage, guy knew I was going round after I'd been to the vets and he's nowhere in bloody sight >:( >:( I knocked on the door umpteen times and also rang and rang and rang :tired: Anyway, I bunged some food under his decking and left a few tins by his front door as he's not bothered to feed the mum and babies, said she was coping really well by catching magpies, mice etc, sounds such an easy life for her :sneaky:
-
Where abouts is the birman? :)
-
Denbighshire, North Wales
-
*Sigh* it was worth me asking. :innocent:
-
Where are you Beth? You may be surprised how far I've travelled doing homechecks, I do want to cut my running around down but you never know ;)
-
Oh god another Birman is so tempting but the ways things are ATM with the house I really dont think i could.

Quite far then :shy:
-
Thinking about all these litter trays.
-
The good thing with the ferals is they'll be going back as soon as they've recovered from surgery so it will only be for a few days. The youngsters, I'm going to try and get places for as I'm too stressed at the moment with all the mither, the phone is non stop and my head feels like it's going to explode and my energy levels are running at an all time low :tired: At this rate, this lot will bloody kill me
-
Oooh Ive had a blue and a red but never a seal point......................no , stop it Kirsty , you cant! :tired:
-
The guy is shoving a piccie in the post for me so I should receive it tomorrow ;)
The ferals that were in this morning are all fine and are all little boys :evillaugh: They can go back home tomorrow bless them :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
All the little boys are back from the vets now, all are extremely frightened bless them :'( I've covered their cage up and given them something to eat and in the morning, they can go home again. I'll try and get a couple of piccies later once they've calmed down a little :Luv2: :Luv2:

Sorry, Mark. :shy: I think she's ace too. She's currently my avatar on Facebook and I've posted bulletins about her on myspazz. I really want to find her somewhere. (Safe, obviously!)
-

Beavis has gone next door for some peace and quiet - he's all kitten-out today! :)
-
The Birman baby for re-homing is he still available and where.
Kirst mentioned in another thead to me.
I am in Wigan - already re-homed with CPL Wigan and had home visit if any use.
Do you have pictures of him yet :)
-

-
Its in Denbyshire, North Wales
-
Oh so it does , what a shame. Im sure someone will snap him up tho! :Luv2:
-
The nasty Josephine has just let my son get her on his hand and climbed onto his shoulder  She's not attempted to bite any of us whilst she's been here which I'm surprised about as she's meant to be really naughty apart from with her mum :Luv2: :Luv2:
-

I released these little ones back yesterday before I went over to Manchester, just spoke to Lynn now and they all came running out for food when she went up in the afternoon, so pleased about this as you worried they get too traumatised by the vet visit :Luv2: They had a full check over whilst in there, wormed, deflead, anal glands done and teeth and ears checked and they got a clean bill of health :Luv:
-
They are sore down there then :evillaugh:
-
It's amazing how quick the little boys recover, I still feel awful on them but at least it's done now. They did have a new haircut whilst in the vets as well though so it hasn't done their street cred any good, they had their sides shaved so it was easier to spot them again if they went into the traps when I'm doing the others :evillaugh:
-
Anal glands and mohicans, you'll be lucky to get any more after the others see what happens
-
  I'm soooo cruel :evillaugh: I always get the anal glands emptied though, it's surprising how many have problems with them
-
I suspect the Birman has now gone into hiding in case he's next!
-
The gorgeous Birman has already been neutered so he's safe :evillaugh: I've received a piccie of him this morning, he is :Luv2: :Luv2: I'll have to take a piccie of the piccie and then I'll post
-
Oh I wish I coud have him- I want another babe to make my family complete.
He sounds lovely - but me thinks he woldl need to be indoors cat tho :'(
Just been looking at Clover - so many babies on here - I want them all and a bigger house of course.
Plus would have to get rind of OH if that many lol.
I think one more would be perfect - then I would have 3 babes. Tibby is lonely as Lucy does not take him at all - tollerates him I would say. he he goes near her - she hisses at him - what a grump. Tibby needs a friend.
-
As i nsaid before , older Bormans tend to be indoor cats by choice - I have to force mine out sometimes! :evillaugh:
Im sure if you really are interested Dawn can give you some more info.
-
He is a definite indoor and has never been outside. He's 6 years old and looks :drool; I'll post a pic shortly
-
Nooooo pictures - its cruel
Oh well - I am sure someone will love and take care of him in his forever home. Good luck little man :Luv: :blow kiss:
-
Piccie isn't brilliant as I had to take a piccie off a piccie :shy:

What a babe!! Hes a big boy too , he looks like he would eat Beavis for breakfast!
-
He is a stunner :Luv:
U will find a forever home for the big man very soon.

The gorgeous Josephine went home to her mum today, it seems really quiet without her and I'm sure my own parrots have noticed the difference as well. Her mum was over the moon that she behaved herself, apparently the carers and anyone who has contact with her are petrified, and yet she was a little babe whilst she was here. I even took some piccies of Craig holding her and shown them to her mum so she could see she can be nice when she wants to be :Luv2: :Luv2: Eventually she will be coming here to live but I hope she has a long while yet with her mum, you can tell she's well loved and is an important part of her mums life :Luv: :Luv:
