Title: Blue eyed kittens?

You'll probably all think I'm asking a stupid question biut...... When look around I've noticed ALL the kittens I've seen have had bright blue eyes just like babies do when they are born. As with babies do kittens eyes change colour as they get older? or have I just been lucky in finding so many big adorable blue eyes lol  :Luv2:

yep , Jerry and Gizzys eyes were both blueish when I got them but Jerrys are a lovely amber colour now. Interestingly Gizzys are green but have a blue tinge around the outside of the iris...............Im sure theres some oriental in him somewhere!

Beavis' of course are still bright blue!!

Yes they change, you do get some cats that get to keep their lovely blue eyes tho such as ragdolls  :Luv:

One of my new kittens, Genghis, has still got his blue eyes, but my other one Fred already has quite dark green eyes.  Don't know if he was born with them though!  Maisie used to have bluey-grey eyes but now they're a beautiful shade of green!

I love cats' eyes :)

Oscar , mu blue point boy had the most amazing bright blue eyes!

hmmmmmm I can't make my mind up but when I went to visit my two on saturday their eyes where blue/green. Perhaps they are going to be green eyed girlies how cute!
