Title: Potential home for FIV considered, Kent. UPDATE
Post by: Canterbury_cats (Sharon) on June 28, 2008, 14:43:23 PM
I have a lovely lady who is looking to adopt a indoor puss cat.Not too fussed on age or colour, but it would have to be healthy.. She lives in first floor flat.. has cat experience, is very keen to take on a FIV puss cat and has no other pets or children.. Studying for a MA in something or another.

I am in contact with Bredhurst about FIV puss cat.. but if anyone in the Kent area (or a cat in more dire need) that could fit the bill then pls let me know.. She does have a balcony but is going to get that screened off.

We can homecheck...

Transport would i am afraid rely on co operation from other branches if outside the area, she does drive...

I am due to ring her back in a few days time.

In our care we currenty do not have any indoor cats or FIVs which is a nice change!

I mentioned a cat that is in a desperate situation on the other thread Sharon...

His name is Handsome, 6 year old FIV+, currently living at a vets, as the CP branch have no room for him.  :'(

I should be able to do transport from North London (watford is fine) and transfer closer to where this lady is if someone is happy to meet half way say?

Weekend only I'm afraid for me but can help then if it suits.

Depends where she lives in Kent.  I could probably manage the whole journey but would prefer if she lives closer to you if someone could share halfway.

What is halfway Ruth.. Maidstone etc..? As that would be easy i think to get a volunteer to pick up that way. No problem with weekends? He is at a vets in Watford... at the moment and has been for over 6wks or so..

The lady that was interested in Handsome is still interested in taking on a FIV puss cat in dire need.. There must be one out their somewhere, or a cat that is deaf..

The last FIV Homer i rehomed amazingly in 2 days so we dont have any FIV cats in our care or ones that need indoor homes..

Any taker!!
