Title: Little Freddie
Post by: Pinkbear (Julie) on June 28, 2008, 00:30:17 AM
Some ways back in the mist of time (about a month ago!), I posted about a rejected newborn who we took in and I panicked as I'd never had one that small before. He ended up going to Caroline our welfare officer, and pretty soon after, a cat gave birth in her care and this mum adopted little Freddie as her own. Can't find the thread now...  :tired:

Anyway, just wanted to say to everyone who remembers, I heard little Freddie is still thriving under the care of his new mum but with one small twist. He is totally pants at suckling from her. Hasn't got a clue, poor love.  :evillaugh: So at feedtime, mum settles down to feed her own babies (who now tower over Freddie) while little Freddie has his bot-bot from Caroline. Afterward, Caroline sends him back to 'mum' who cleans him up and tucks him off to sleep. Caroline says it's hysterical and so sweet as the minute he sees her come into the room, he stops playing with his adoptive brothers scurries over and assumes the feeding position.  :Luv2: :Luv2:  :evillaugh:
