Title: Crazy Cat Lady
Post by: SuzeB on June 25, 2008, 23:03:40 PM
Anyone else get called this on a regular basis?

I reckon the cats have got more furniture than I do - this may be a sign!

Yep...most of us do on here and we're fiercely proud of it!  :evillaugh:

I know what you mean about the cats having more furniture than thier slaves....mine have 5 cat tents, 3 radiator beds, numerous fleece blankies,6 litter trays (my guys are REALLY picky about toilet habits), a draw full of toys which is hard to close, 3 cat beds and 2 scratching posts (with 3 more cat trees on thier way!) the list continues.......

I always correct people to cat woman - leather cat suit and all that!  the scariest one was when someone I hadn't seen for over a year phoned to say she wanted to rehome her cat and had woken at one in the morning thinking about me

Yep I get called all that and more too. I only have two cats! I think you spiral into it though. It starts by a little rescue work and a fond chat about your cats. Then your birthday arrives and with it comes a cat picture/ornament/tshirt/amusing anecdote book etc... so your house is then full of cat stuff. People see all that and before you know it there's the label.

Seems a shame to disappoint them though so yes I too am proud of it!
