Title: Sainsbury's Insurance WArning
Post by: Desley (booktigger) on June 24, 2008, 21:32:53 PM
I just did a quote for MAbel, and they have changed the excess for over 9's, it is now coming up as an excess of £125, which i think is ridiculous, there are loads of things that come under that - Pebbles 2 x-rays were just under £100, so I have gone with AXA and changed Molly over before her 6 monthly checkup, in case it shows anything, I dont want to be tied to Sainsbury's with that excess.

Thought you might all want a warning, and they are one to take off my list for recommendations. I have had issues with them this year over Tiger's policy (it took them 3 months to close the policy, and they had to refund me cos of taking money, I Wasn't happy)

I got a quote the other day for £9 a month for a 9 year old from Axa. I think like most insurance, it varies by postcode. The reason I left petplan is because it kept going up. 5 years ago, they wanted to put it up fron £8 to £13 a month (for  3 year old at the time  ) so I moved to Lloyds TSB - I didn't know about various cover types then so I am changing all 4 cats to Axa when it is time to renew.
