Here's my boy, a few hours after returning (after getting beaten up & chased away by the tomcat).. as you can see he settled back into place pretty quickly :Luv:

Aww bless him :Luv: Give him a big hug from me. The good thing is that he clearly knows where his home is and wants to be there. Even though he was initially cautious about getting too close in case the cat was still there, it's obvious that he thinks of your place as home and doesn't want to be anywhere else.

So wondeerful ;D

Yes it's nice to see how quick he was at getting back to normal, it was just the inital few hours and the next morning that he was jumpy and anxious. He is now back to his back bossy little self, strutting around like he owns the place! (and who can blame him?)

I'm hoping I'll be experiencing this emotion myself in a few hours, as well as my little tyke, Stanley. Daft thing has leaped down onto the balcony outside my downstairs neighbour's kitchen somehow and they're out now and have been since early this morning. He keeps calling for me and is cold and wet since it rained earlier on. They'll be home soon and I've already cat-proofed my balcony to stop him getting down there again although I sincerely hope he's learned his lesson. I know I have.

Hope Stanley is back by now and snuggling up on the sofa

Isnt there someway that you can get someone to help you to get to him, cos they may have gone away
-
Oh no, they hadn't gone away, I have their mobile number so I sent them a text. They didn't bother rushing back, not being cat-people but he's safe back at home now, poor little mite The first thing he did when I got him in was to visit his litter-tray and then dash to his food bowl, so I think he must have been down there for quite a while before I got up this morning. He's now lounging on the bed, not a care in the world, thank goodness. I think I'm more relieved than he his
