Title: Clover needs a home
Post by: Desley (booktigger) on June 17, 2008, 21:27:56 PM
Clover is a stunning 3 year old longhaired tortie (yes, I know, not words I normally use in the sentence!!), who is looking for a new home due to her owner moving in with her boyfriend and a clash of personalities between cats, which has resulted in her trying to leave home, and more vet visits for their elderly cat due to fights. She is spayed and chipped, but her vacc records show she hasn't had any done since Sept 06. Pics will follow when she has settled a bit more, but her owner said she seemed happier and more settled than she had the 8 months since they moved (she has spent that time trying Feliway etc).

I know!! her fur is gorgeous, I might have to go for longhaireds next, although I think she might be a semi-longhair, she has a ruff and fluffy tail, but the rest of her fur lies sleekly on her body - pics will prob be here tomorrow (no camera batteries at the mo!!). She is a very good eater, although did cry a bit overnight. I actually have two torties in teh house Gill, they  might not be what I would choose, but you dont get that option when you foster.

Here she is, she is a lovely girl, definitely the nicest tortie in the house, and I am very taken with her long fur - I have met other longhaireds, but not been this enthralled. Ironically, I can sit in her room and be fine, but it is going to work that sets me off!!

Apart from teh amount of white, she reminds me a lot of Lucy, and I liked her colouring. I am drawn more to cats that have a lot of white on them (despite adoring pure blacks!!), which is why I think she is nicer looking than Zi. She has a cute thing going on her face - one side of her nose is black and the other ginger, you can only just see it on the first pics though.

it feels really silky too Pav, i am fascinated by it - I have met other longhaireds, but they didn't feel as silky as she does. Such a good natured girl too.

Clover came in due to not getting on with other cats (although had lived with one for 3 years), she hasn't shown any signs of being bothered by the other 4 here though, and we are not that far from wigan.

I have changed it to the middle one, although I had to crop loads out, must remember to reduce the quality on my camera, CC can't cope with it!!

I think I have pm'd Des - not sure if it has worked.
I am going to work on Hubby as I really want Clover - she is such a cutie and will make my furry family complete with 3.
Hubby says no more cats - but I want one more - Lucy does not like other cats, but I think Tibby is lonely and needs company to snuggle to.
I have phoned the tel number on web-site so watch this space.
 ;)
