Just came across a local rescue who is emigrating on Wednesday, and is down to 2 cats who need placements before she goes. She thinks they are both 6, and they do need to go together - one is a female silver tabby and white, and the other is a white and black male, unfortunately she is not sure where the pictures of them are. She is currently based in Whitefield, which is near Bury, but could travel to deliver them. If anyone can help, either a permanent home, or a foster home, please let me know, and I Can pass her details onto you.

Cheers - unable to get hold of the lady at the moment to tell her I have a foster home lined up for them, there is something wrong with her phone line. I hope this means she hasn't had it disconnected already.

They are with Rachel now, not sure we have been told the whole truth here, but c'est la vie. They are also apparently not the colours we were told, they are brown tabby and white, and black and white, Rachel will sort out pics when they have settled more. I also have a new foster, but I will start a new thread for her.

Ahhh, getting colours wrong. Rosellas little princess Noni was described as a grey cat.....ummm......no.
Anyway, glad you sorted something and looking forward to pictures.

Following on from Des. They are both with me now. The black and white is slightly over weight but a really sweet man. I was told by the man who dropped them off that is was the scitish of the two but he is really sweet. Socks the little girl hasn't stopped growling and hissing at me yet or at her supposed friend, she is one very scarred little girl at the moment but very beautiful. Decided to give them the run of the flat to see if it calmed them down a bit. So put daughter and dog to bed and gave them some space. They immediately have both gone and hid under my bed and fell asleep so at least I know they are settled and ok now as I am sat on the bed typing this. I will try and get some pics to Des tomorrow so we can put them on. My daughter has already fallen in love with the little boy. I will let you know more about their personalities tomorrow.

Aww bless them, you might have been better having them in the spare room first though, the full run of the flat might be too much for them. It is normal for one cat to be growly, even towards the cat they have lived with. Can't wait to see pics, and I shall get you the light biscuits at some point.

I know I should have put them in the spare room but soft :censored: that I am felt sorry for them that they felt so scarred. Don't worry the flats not that big and they have found there own place that they feel safe. Not worried at all about the growling just thought it was funny that the man who dropped them off said the male would be worse. They both obviosly feel safe under my bed as its a wooden bed and dark and its got my suitcases under there so they probably feel safe. Will pop them both in the spare room when I go to bed, just peeped at them and they are cuddled up together on top of my suitcase :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:

:-) - fingers crossed they dont stay under the bed for too long then!! I think he might have just been mistaken, i am sure she said that Socks was worse. My foster is the opposite, very confident, i very nearly got a belly rub from her before her owner even left - I am glad in a way, as she didn't want her to have to come to a rescue, so at least she has seen her be more content than she has in months.

lol Benji has come out now and has jumped up and is sat on my knee. He is lovely such a softie pushing into my hand as a tickle his ears :Luv2: He has a lovely personality so far. Will get socks out without any problem as the wooden slats come off my bed. Going to settle them both down for the night soon. Just made up with my house mates ;D Such sweeties Thankyou for trusting me with them. They will be spoilt rotten

Well socks is much more settled this morning. She has stopped hissing at me and benji we get the odd growl but nothing more, she has used the litter tray and is a beautiful little girl. :Luv2:

These two are still with us, and as Rachel has broke her foot, Benjy is currently with me. We will be able to see how well they cope without each other, and fingers crossed we can find a home for them soon
