I'm thinking about getting one of these to pop my foster kittens in. Has anyone got one and are they any good?
-
What does it do? :scared:

It's a cage with platforms etc , to put kittens in while you are out or busy. I fancy one for the foster kittens. ;)

Looks like this.

I think they look quite neat. The cheapest I saw was about £135. They fold flat too, and have a deeper base than the folding dog crates, so the cat litter doesn't fly all over the place!! :evillaugh:

Speaking personally, I wouldn't spend that much. No matter how big the pen is, kittens want out of it. :evillaugh: We use the standard MDC kitten pens, which are really useful when getting to know them for that first couple of days, or when you want to keep them secure while cleaning out the foster room. I find that once they are confident of themselves and their surroundings, they will howl the house down to be let out. And once they are out, they won't go back in. Have you ever tried herding kittens into somewhere they don't want to go?? :innocent:

Yep, it is incredibly hard work, and I was only trying to get one kitten back in her cage!!

Wouldnt be difficult to adjust a normal cage for a much nicer price ;D they do look cool tho. Can imagine the dive bombing into the litter tray :evillaugh:

Yeah and the food bowl!!!!!! :evillaugh:
