I've been lucky so far that I haven't had any previously live gifts! Riley is a good spider catcher but he eats them rather than bringing them to me.
Last night Lu proudly bought me over an ice lolly stick, this morning I made my bed to find a furry mouse (a toy one thankfully) in the middle of the bed under the duvet and Riley has just come in from the garden having wrestled the cap/lid of the parasol base! I kept replacing it but he kept going straight back to it and bringing it back in - caught him on camera the third time he did it.
What non standard presents do you all get?

I just get the kitty kopter.. can't say I've had anything stranger than that!

unfortunately ours are normally pretty standard, although we did get an earthworm phase last year and a couple of weeks ago a bat was flying around which was a first

Toy mouses all over the house and now Fergus has taken to bringing us back some brown, dead holly leaves when he goes out :evillaugh:

i have had a real mouse before when sam was a kitten, and it was alive running all round the kitchen haha

One of our Burmese was very keen on dead oak leaves, Dawn but one of my son's cats used to bring in: washing up brushes, sponges and on one memorable occasion a ring pad from someones wedding.

Worms, feathers, fuschias & carnations (pink or red only), lolly sticks, chips, bottle caps, sandwiches, drinking straws.
My best gift was a red feather tickler with leather handle :shify: :shify: :shify:

My boys are very selfish and don't share anything with me. Jaffa sometimes brings mousey to me and drops him at my feet, but other than that I get no 'gifts' from them. Mosi nicks anything that's not bolted down but he takes them under the bed rather than bringing them to me.

I had the top off of a deodorant can this morning, plastic straw wrapper, the wrapper from my fox's glacier dark. Also have had numerous mouses, a pencil and a lottery ticket. The best one ever though (so far) has to be when he brought me a paint brush :-: I'm talking a proper paintbrush that you paint door frames/windowsills with. He took it off the table, carried it all the over to me, placed it on my lap and got in his little fetch position for me to throw it :-: It was bigger than he was.

Only had a very fat and very dead mouse from Charlie. Dragan brought me a starling's wing, a bright pink dishcloth and a CD

Meesha brings me a leaf nearly every day! :Luv: That's what she thinks I eat, bless her little woolly socks! Shanti brings me half-eaten beefburgers and sausages ... I absolutely shrivel to think about where she gets them from! :rofl: She also brings me her little cloth mousie.
Sabby is the mouser, but thankfully only brings them as far as the back yard, and they're dead by then! Otherwise, he just brings me his beautiful, bouncing self! :Luv2: Oh, and collects all the balls in the bath overnight! :Crazy:
Oh, Meesha brings me her ball when she wants to play ... does that count?

Mice , moles , baby rabbits , birds and Fed cats piece de resistance , a fully grown and very much alive Hen Pheasant!

I once watched Macey crossing over the road thinking oh no as she was carrying something her mouth, when she reached the door it was only a long piece of grass lol She can also catch mice and butterfly's, and loves chasing the bugs at night.
Harry is like Rambo, I could just picture him in combats sneaking through the grass lol His motto is a bird a day, so I get a bird a day and he expects lots of love for this :sick: He also likes mice too and baby rabbits- my own!
Lyla is just a mini Harry :naughty:

Along time ago one of my cats Max , a little chinchilla brought me a empty birds nest -carried it really proudly all down the field and right to me . :Luv2:

We don't get many gifts is this current house as they can't escape from the garden, but in the previous house Jumpy was the neighbourhood thief. :evillaugh: Memorable trophies include a freshly prepared Mackerel, half a loaf of stale bread, a Crystal Palace - Watford football ticket and a London Underground map. He would also go into all the other houses in the street and knick their cats' toys and bring them home. Once I week I would put them all in a basket then go along knocking on doors asking people if they could identify any of them. :shy:

When I was a child we saw our family at Bobby running along the back wall home with a neighbour's nicely roasted joint in his mouth

What a load of little tea leaves there on on here. I wonder if the owner of the football ticket missed it? I love the idea of you going round with the basket PB. It's a wonder we haven't all been arrested by now

I've had worms from Daisy, and Belle brings loads of rubbish home, crisp bags, wrappers and once a huge McDonalds paper cup.
