Wheres the best place to buy one from? Is there somewhere that will give some money to charity if I get it through them? I think Rosie needs one, she is losing loads of fur at the moment.
-
I got mine from qvcuk.co.uk not much chance of the money going to charity though!
-
Iv just bought one for milly, got it from pet planet. Iv not seen anywhere who run affiliate schemes selling them.
Im hoping it will help reduce her hairballs :wish:
-
Des I bought mine off ebay.
-
What on earth is a furminator?? I Have a vision of an Arnie-style kitty toting and Uzi 9mm!!!
-
Its a grooming tool, gets all the undercoat out ;D
http://www.furminator.com/ (http://www.furminator.com/)
-
 it's a brush that gets deep in to the fur to get out knots - not good on for my Bengal boys - but great for Thai's thick coat.
It's a bit like a flea comb - teeth are close together and it seems to slice out the undercoat. Really good for long haired kitties.
-
That's odd as obn their own site, it says suitable for all shedding cats, long and short hair - on Petplanet site, they give you a whole list of breeds it's not suitable for, ie LaPerm, Ragamuffins (Are they Ragdolls?) etc etc
-
I didnt like the furminator, hated it on my longhairs. Its bascially a blade in a handle and overpriced in my opnion. Its heavy and what I call 'clunky' (LOL!) on slim/thin cats. Unfortunately it doesnt just pull out undercoat, pulls out topcoat too.
-
Yeah its not the most agile peace of equipment, especially when milly sits down and puts her joints in the way :innocent:
-
I must confess I sold mine on ebay
-
I can get it through CatChat, and it says to mention them, will look into it.
