recently i know someone told me that a household brand of cleaning products are poisonous to cats and i've spent ages online trying to find out what it is but i cant find it anywhere!
i think it was flash, does anyone know?

I heard that Dettol being phenol based is poisonous to cats

Rule of thumb is that if it turns cloudy in water its not good. Ecover loo cleaner does this

Things like Zoflora, dettol antiseptic contain phenols which build iup over time as cats livers cannot process them so it is a slow poisoning. There is a case on FAB where a woman thought she was doing the best for her cat keeping the house clean but it was poisoned. I'm sure most cleaning products are toxic to a degree. I remember you always used to see a sign on Sainsburys products saying that Bitrex had been added to them but I don't remember seeing it for a long time

Bitrex can be added to Antifreeze really cheaply so why don't they do it? >:(

Oh blimey I use Zoflora in the litter trays, mind you I make a good job of washing it out properly
