I went to collect Bonny from the vets after her check up and vacs. The plan was that I was taking her to the cattery to go into an outdoor pen. She had been signed over by her owner who had suddenly developed asthma ( :tired: )
While I was there, the practice manager & I were saying how gorgeous and friendly she was. She said her friend had lost her cat (RTA) before xmas and was thinking of getting another. Anyway, she phoned her friend who lives in the next village and I waited while she drove over to have a look. She fell in love and so I followed her in the car and did a homecheck and left Bonny with her. Bonny made herself at home right away - she was all over me :Luv2: - I couldn't get a decent pic as she was exploring and jumping up on worktops (which the lady doesn't mind :Luv2: )

Ahhh what a lovely story ... so pleased for Bonny and her new Mummy. Hope they have many happy years together.

I was so happy that she didn't have to go into a pen :Luv2:

What a lovely girl she is and great that she has gone straight to her new home ;D

Sadly the lady said she is not going to have a cat called Bonny as she doesn't like feminine names for cats - she called her last one "cat" :evillaugh: - don't worry, she is fine but quite forthright. She lived in NY for 20 years and is a "Ms" :evillaugh: - she is early retired so around for Bonny most of the time. It was a lovely Georgian townhouse - I want it!
She has a flap hanging off her ear - the vet said it was nothing as I said I was worried about her catching it on a branch or something and it tearing. Anyway, the lady (Daphne) agrees with me and is making an appointment to have it sorted so she on top of cat care :Luv2:

I called my first cat, cat too but in czech, so Kocka lol

That's terrific Mark - I hope she is as pleased and happy with her Bonny (or whatever she is going to call her) as I am with my darling little Bonnie.

She was so affecionate with me - even the lady said Bonny liked me. Surpising as I was the one who put her in a cage and in a scary car and put her somewhere strange. She took it all in her stride - she is adorable :Luv2:
-
Aw bless - when I saw it at first Mark, I thought you'd taken another cat in!! :naughty: :evillaugh:   :Luv2:

I would be killed if I bought another cat in the house :scared:

My friend Terry was always going on about his partner Dean bringing home animals all the time - Irish Wolfhound, 2 cats, 2 tortoises and tropical fish BUT recently Terry did one better - he got 6 hens!!!!

Lovely to have some happy news on here! I'd answer to anything if someone offered me a great home in a Georgian townhouse :evillaugh:

Good work Mark. I know what Daphne, if I may call her that, means about girly names but I would say that, wouldnt I?
