I've posted a few pics of our recent addition on another thread but wanted to share her more generally.
Noni (18 months old) is simply gorgeous and arrived to stay with our 3 boys on Saturday. Her character is a delight, she is so very sweet and thought I'd share our good fortune with everyone. Thomas (18) not at all put out by her arrival, Billy Whiz was initially but coming round a bit more each day and Freddie is a bit smitten :Luv:. She is settling in amazingly well and we love her to bits. Here's Miss Noni Baroni

Oh yes VERY funny JS :naughty:. You know perfectly well that Ms Baroni is a troublemaker of the very highest order :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: and completely impossible to regulate her behaviour without kisses and cuddles and such stuff :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
Cannot wait for the grand re-opening of the catflap ....... until we are about to of course then we will be terrified :scared: :scared: :scared:
To ease your withdrawal symptoms JS ......

Just wondering when you're planning on letting Madam Baroni venture out? I have to admit we made it to three weeks before she snuck out of the cat flap! I thought she was upstairs in a basket, but I was sat watching TV and she wandered in and sat on me with wet feet. :shify:
Let me know how it goes - obviously! :)
-
Mmmmmm well ....... OH wants to try it today actually as long weekend and will have plenty of time to spend out there with her while I do some gardening (I know it's a bit early but 2 weeks and very settled) and I am tempted as she is so good at coming when called and the gold chain is magic. She's faster than a speeding bullet when it comes out. Wasn't going to say JS as no point anyone else freaking out but, since you asked, can't tell a lie......
Not sure about cat flap as it has a magnet on it to stop it flapping about and needs a good head butt (Freddie) or much better a paw push (Billy technique) to open it. She's a clever little thing though and am sure won't take anywhere near as long as Freddie did. Will of course leave door open to start with though.
OH is keen of course to get back to our bedroom as has been kipping with Noni in spare room for most of last 2 weeks whilst cat flap open for the other 3. You wouldn't believe how often Freddie comes in and out (maybe you would!) and squeaks like a mad squeaky thing if he can't get out.
Anyway we'll see......
-
Ok JS so the deed is done .....
Blimey was just going to explain that just had 10 mins outside with the princess when I heard the catflap go and she'd gone out again so catflap no probs! Got her back in with gold chain and now she is anxious to go back out so gotta go.
She initially came out through open door on her own and back in again on her own and was playing with Da Birdie with her and Billy (a wee bit worried she may chase after Billy and go further than she should) but so far so good.
Very quiet here at the moment. Think all neighbours must be on hols including 3 kids next door. Very peaceful.
-
She's a smart one with cat flaps, Rosella. :) We didn't even show her ours, she just saw the others going in and out and decided she wanted to as well! (She had been here three weeks at that point.)
I have to admit, my partner was the same as your OH. He felt it would've been safe to let her out a week earlier, but I was paranoid as she wasn't chipped - the night before we got her chipped she made the decision for me!
Glad it's all "so far, so good!" ;D
-
Been out with her all afternoon. She is completely at home and knows excatly where she lives which was the worry.
Seems outside is more Billy's territory and Freddie  been chased in by Noni a couple of times. Cats is weird creatures.
Noni has gone over tha back gate twice (leads to front of house but we are well away from roadas you know) and been enticed back in with gold chain in no time so quite a success really. She will be grounded again overnight and see how it goes tomorrow. Will try the "getting back in" thru catflap tomorrow :scared:
Got a good photo op today ;)
-
Oh come on indulge me...... Noni's 1st day out......

D'you know I think she's got some NFC traits looks wise..... :)
-
Not that I am in any way partial to NFCs ;) Swoon, swoon
I know what you mean JS but she's not quite as large as yer average NFC
-
Nope, not quite. But if she continues to eat the way she did here she might be! ;)
I think she may be the result of a pedigree cat and a moggy somewhere along the way. I know she's stunning regardless. :Luv:
