Title: Desperate - Coventry - mum and 4 newborns in back garden
Post by: Angiew on May 12, 2008, 20:47:29 PM
Anyone know anyone in or near Coventry who can take these in for 2 - 3 weeks until my fosters go to their new homes?
Can provide kitten pen. If you can help please phone number on covcat website.
I don't like the thought of thm being there overnight.

Panic over - sort of.
It was coventry CP who mentioned them to me and I've been fretting since. Just phoned up about them and the lady who reported it has a phobia about cats and says she's been told there are probably about 2 - 3 weeks old. On advice she has put food down for them today but none of it has gone.
So not much else anyone can do now.

I've already picked up a mum to be and a mum with 3 kittens today so I've been phoning round - I'd decided they would come in with me and have to share living accomodation with the mum and her two remaining kittens - first ones went Saturday :(

That's a relief, I'm not sure what OH would have said if he'd come home at midnight to find his office had been requisitioned again...

Yes I'm relieved but in reality its not going to be too long before I really have to stop even trying to help in situations like these, Its going to be a long summer!

I'm glad the panic is over, but if you need my help in the future with little ones, let me know - it always seem to start later down here.

We havent got any kittens in at the moment either Hels, we had one pregnant mum in Jan and that has been it so far - the other rescue I fundraise for havent' had any either this year, so hopefully it is a sign of a good year - doens't stop people wanting kittens though!!
