Title: Catsan Clumping
Post by: Leanne on May 12, 2008, 13:10:50 PM
Well I think this is the litter for us,

Its been in one tray (have 3) since friday and its the only tray being used, Jess seems much happier with it and sometimes has wee'd 3 time a day  :wow:

The annoying this is I'd just brough 3 bags of normal catsan and opened them and I now can't see this being used

mine will only use catsan, sainsburys ultra clumping or a french supermarket own brand one - not the usual supermarket (of course) - I had to go to that supermarket just for their pootray litter
*think* sainsbury's may be slightly cheaper?

Thats my lots fav type of litter, i tried it after reading vicky halls book where she recommends using litter that is as close to sand as possible. That would be what the 'original' cats used being desert animals.

Iv found the best price is from zooplus. £8.99 for 14kg  ;) its called golden grey

Has anyone else noticed that Tesco has stopped selling ANY clumping litter? (or it is just in my own little corner of the world) I have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to an Asda or a Pets At Home to get any. Leeloo gets so mad if I don't have the right litter. She sits at the door to the litter box and just howls at me if I try to use anything different.

I agree that golden grey is great if you want a clay, clumping litter.  Works much better than catsan et al if you ask me, and it's cheaper.  It is scented which doesn't suit everyone, but I find it works great with odour control, clumps well and the cats like it.
