Title: We lost Bobbin last night RIP little one
Post by: wharfevalley catsprotection on April 24, 2008, 14:37:06 PM: Bobbin had come home and seemed to be doing ok, but his fosterers found him this morning curled up with his mum and siblings. At least he died at home with his family, but even so.

It's been such a horrid two weeks, losing Lily and then Bobbin like this. Re-homing is really slow and we've had people mess us about with Lucy and Bruce and other cats. I know everyone goes through these periods in rescue but we're really deflated at the moment and it's hard to get motivated!!!

Hope other people are having better weeks!

Post by: Dawn F on April 24, 2008, 14:55:56 PM: I know it must be tough, I've certainly seen Teresa and DiddyDawn have similar periods, once I remember Teresa was planning to give it all up and little cat called destiny ended up on her doorstop and changed her mind, sorry I haven't got anything motivating to say but you are appreciated

Think i'll just have a day to myself curled up with Katie listening to music and fingers crossed for the 4 home visits we've got booked in for the weekend x

If you can try and think of all the cats who you have rehomed and settled with their paws firmly planted under the table. Even if only 1 cat got rehomed then it's 1 cat in a happy loving home that would otherwise be on the streets had it not been for the wonderful work you guys in rescue do. :hug:
