Title: Explosive Diarrhea and Sickness this morning.
Post by: Den on April 17, 2008, 10:15:02 AM: As the title says that is what's going on with Memphis. I have no idea what caused it as he hasn't eaten anything different. He doesn't have a temperature and is acting like a raving lunatic (so I haven't bothered with a vets visit as he's not out of character).

He also says he's hungry. His normal diet is half a pouch of felix in the am, small hand of JWB and the same at night. Do I feed him that or go out and get some chicken.

I don't know what to do when it comes to my own cat :shocked: I know what to do with Bunnies and dogs.

He's had a bit of a mad five minutes now he's asleep next to me .. he's definitely went a bit quiet before his nap. Just going to keep an eye on him. He's eaten a small bit of chicken and had plenty to drink.

Now you mention it Memphis did seem to gobble up his dinner last night .. He's been sick before but never had it out both ends at the same time.

However, he's just been sick again :( he did a bit of hacking then it all came up - don't read if eating - It was all liquid (he has drunk quite a bit of water today). It was a brown colour which you associate coming from the rear end :-: The odd thing is as he was fine all afternoon and this morning so I gave him a treat which he has every day. He was sick within minutes of eating it ... it came up pretty much then way it went in :'(

I think he'd better be seen to a doc, his latest barf doesn't sound very normal... :( Take care of your poor baby I hope he gets better soon without anything serious!! :hug:

He's been sleeping on his own on the bed ... very, very unusual. Normally he's in whatever room I am. If I'm upstairs he sleeps on my bed - but I was downstairs this evening - he was no where to be seen. Even if he's tired he will make his way downstairs and sleep on one of the dining room chairs. I did give him a little bit of his usual dinner and so far (touch wood) it's stayed in him. It's been 1 hour 30 since he ate.

Oddly enough he's acting like he was never sick .... he seems perfectly ok today. Silly, Kitty getting me all worried like that. He's eaten his breakfast and is currently sat on top of the aquarium.

:rofl: :rofl: I've only just seen this .. funnily enough just been to the chippy for dinner, he has in fact had a little bit of fish.
