Title: 3 for 2 on Pets at Home Cuisine range biscuits
Post by: koscha (Ruth M) on April 13, 2008, 20:54:05 PM
Pets at Home are currently doing 3 for 2 on 4kg bags of thier Cuisine dry food. Each bag is £5.29. Seems like good value to me.
Couldn't find an end date for the offer.

Also doing a 3 for £2.50 offer on Whiskas Temptation treats.....

Not seen those, what are the ingredients like?
I am going near a PAH next Sat, might get Molly some treats, she will only eat Whiskas treats (odd as she isn't allowed any other Whiskas food!!)

Standard 30% protein mix-
Chicken with Spring veg (4% chicken, peas and carrots)
Salmon,Shrimp and Dill (4% Salmon and Shrimp)

though does contain EC antioxidant preservative and colours (?) doesn't give numbers....... At least theres an ingrediant list instead of the usual 'typical analysis'.

My kitties are going to go through a lot of biccies (premonition  ;))  and are ok on standard foods so best to take advantage of a chance like this IMO.

I would rather pay the extra for their other food, I dont like dry food that only has 4% meat.

I think the Cuisine is on par with go-cat so I wouldn't buy it. Their other one is much higher meat content and other good ingredients like prebiotics, yukka etc. Also the added omega 3 & 6 for healthy skin & coat. I think the cats are far healthier and happier with a good diet and it pays in the long run healthwise. There is far too much cereal in the cheap ones. I would go as far as to say PAH premium is better than Hill's, RC etc ingredient wise.

I remember buying Cuisine tins to try them ages ago and Cheese would not touch them with a catnip mouse on a stick
