Since changing my cats diets to a prominently wet food diet, LJ hasn't needed insulin for two months. The downside is that he looks skinny as a rake!
Anyone got any tips on food that shouldn't affect his BG levels too much but would help him gain a bit of weight back?

One for the vets i think!
Is he having regular checks at the vets? Because i wouldnt expect a cat to loose weight just because he eats wet food over dry unless you are not giving enough? My lot have mainly wet and i have to restrict them so they dont get fat...

Wet food does apparantly cause weight loss (I'm using a diabetic cat forum) and there's always food left over, so they're all getting more than enough.
What do you consider to be regular check ups? Unnecessary trips to the vets can cause a diabetic cats BG to rise unnecessarily.
Thanks for answering. :)
