I bought Memphis a box of this .. the lamb, turkey, beef and whatever. I tried him with 2 pouches (1 lamb + 1 Turkey) but he really doesn't like it so I have 10 pouches left .. just wondering if any cat wanted it.
-
I'm sure your local rescue would appreciate it ... ;D
-
I don't know any cat rescues around here.
-
I prefer the ohh so fishy meself ;) :evillaugh:
-
I have heard a few times that the rescues end up with the "Oh so's" and "AGAIL's" as cats don't like them.
-
I took a box of Tesco's own super fishy luxury food to the shelter today. The cats there seem to go crazy for it. Sad thing is I can only stretch to one box a week (which the lady tells me is too much-bless!) and that will only stretch around half the 42 cats there.
My two aren't a fan of the Oh So or AGAIL but chuck em a pouch of Wilko's own and they're anyones!

That is true. When I was volunteering we had tons of them and Felix roasted ... even the cats there didn't like roasted or AGAIL. I've never used oh so meaty before and wouldn't have gotten it if I knew it was in that weird gravy. This is why I wont be giving it to the place I got Memphis from (I know they have TONS of food anyway :Luv: )
I would rather it go to cats that really do like it.

Yeah my guys don't like the 'Oh so' range either - they seem to just eat the jelly from it and leave the meat!

Memphis didn't even do that ... he has NEVER refused anything. Everything else I've tried him with he has devoured .. applaws, hi-life, normal felix and normal whiskas, human food, dog food :-:
-
Shame I'm too far away from you, Rosie loves this. Rolo is weird though, he normally loves fishy flavours, but would only eat the meat ones!! The girls were so so, and I can't remmeber Moses's reaction to it.
-
Mine have never had much whiskas but Jaffa likes the Felix AGAIL and the Felix Roasted ;D He doesn't get much of either though, as the felix and perfect fit senior fill his junk food allowance ;D He'd probably eat it though. He eats just about anything.
I was reading something this afternoon (I forget what and where!) and it said that what cats will eat is very much determined by what they eat in their first year of life as that is when they define what is acceptable to eat and what is not. Interesting notion, although I'm not sure it applies to Jaffa as he didn't have much variety in his diet for the first year, but will eat pretty much anything and has taken to a raw diet like a duck to water ;D

My two can't get enough of the stuff. Though they like the sardine Oh so fishy one best. :)
-
My 4 love it too but they eat anything, the only thing I've seen them turn their nose up is the coley I got them for their birthday the other day!
-
Mine love it too,but then mine love anything, they are just mini furry hoovers :evillaugh:
-
I shall post the pouches to whoever wants them.

My lot won't touch the stuff :tired:
They don't touch the Ooh so fishy either :evillaugh:

Cats really are so fickle. Yesterday morning, I got up and Willow was eating her dried up Gourmet Perle from the night before. I put a fresh one out and put her in front of it. She sniffed it and went back to the crusty one

Jakey is a pain, I love him but he is a pain. No matter what the brand will only eat the Jelly, when he's bored he eats the jelly (just the jelly, all the meat is left going dry and unappetising) usually eats Felix or Tesco's own Supreme one which he loves. When they stopped producing it a while back I tried him on Hi-life, he turned his nose up, Sheba same result in fact the better the quality the more he turned his nose up and looked at me accusing me of starving him. He is a fairly big cat and no matter how many times you walk past his food bowl he will follow and sit and wait looking pathetic, desparately trying to convince me that he is a poor starving wretch. Have now taken to feed the pouches a little at a time, otherwise he would be on 5 or six a day. He has eaten Hills Science but wasted more than he ate. He is the equivalent of a meat and two veg as opposed to gourmet cooking. Oh and thank heavens Tesco started the jelly ones again, he thinks he is in cat heaven.

They will be going to Desley :wow:

Have you tried squishing the pouch before opening it so its a big gloopy lump? Good luck licking the jelly off that :evillaugh:
My lot like the oh so range but i dont because it stinks
-
Tried squishing it and putting a little water in, he licks the juice.

Thanks, I am sure Rosie will appreciate it, and she does deserve some nice food, bless her.
