Sharon, Pinkbear (Julie) and me drove over to Ron's today. We met some lovely cats and saw how Ron's works tirelessly for the cats. I didn't take as many photos as I would like to have but my battery died.
The lovely black cat at the top (forgotten her name) Is one of Ron's own cats. She is very timid but loving. Her previous owners rubbed her face in the litter tray and the vet had to remove litter from under her poor eyelids :'(. As you can imagine this had traumatised her but she is a lovely cat and not at all aggressive.
The second pic is a beautiful long-haired cat who was very affectionate and didn't leave her bed. Julie was very taken with her. She is black but her undercoat is white :Luv2:

What a beautiful cat she is, Mark. How could her previous owners have done that to her. Horrible :censored:

Ron gave them a mouthful! >:(

That is so sad and how can people be so mean to cats grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
We met one of Ron's other house cats who's story was told on here before. Ron had homed him 2 years previously but he was dumped back on Ron when his eyes got bad and Ron had to have one removed and he can just make out shadows with the other :( - He was so friendly and took a shine to Julie although she is convinced she must have had catnip on her :evillaugh:
I don't know why but I didn't get a pic - sorry but I can't remember names. Hopefully Sharon or Julie will remember :evillaugh:

Just a few pics of some other cats there. I wish I had taken some more photos.

Oh that calico one has such sad eyes :(
-
There are 2 of them - sisters I think. Ron saved them from threat of PTS after a couple split up. He says he has someone interested in them. Although she looks sad, I had a good fuss and she was purring like mad :Luv2:

Love that tabby! :Luv2:
You've had a busy week Mark! ;D
-
Busy but great :Luv2:
I have seen and fallen in love with so many that it is quite draining.
-
Mark that's fab, so pleased the trip went well.
You have to share some stories when you have time.

I remembered the story of the cat with gravel in her eyes that Julie posted in the summer :'(
I sat quietly with her for a while and whispered how lovely she was.
She eventually turned round and let me scratch under her chin and started purring. Ron said he has never heard her purr :Luv2:
Ron said her eyes are OK now but there is something about them. Anyway, she is a silky, shiny well cared for cat and will be forever :Luv2:

I am so jealous ;) all those gorgeous furbabes :Luv2:
The B&W (middle pic in the second lot of pics) is sooo scrummy :Luv2: :Luv2:

What beautiful furbabes Ron has at his place....they all look so relaxed considering what a terrible past some have had....just shows what a brilliant job he is doing! :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
