Title: New cat flap fitted!!! (with photos)
Post by: Lily on April 04, 2008, 13:48:11 PM
Just had a little man round to fit my new cat flap.  I didn't want it in my front door (due to the expense of removing it when/if I move) so I wanted it in the side panel which was glass.  It was all a bit complicated and after investigating whether we could fit the cat flap in the wooden bit at the bottom of the panel (it was too small and also was structural to the side panel), I got a handy man round to do it for me.  It's taken him all morning but it looks really good....

He had to put a step in as it was too far from the floor for little Lily to cope with.  Looks a bit streaky at the moment but it should even out as the stain dries.

Lily can't investigate it yet as the stain has to dry and she can't use it yet cos ...

All in all a very productive day, even if all I did was make lots of cups of tea.

Looks like the finished result was well worth the cups of tea.

I like that flap very secretive, blends in well! That's an awfully large collar she had on!  :scared:

Yes it is a huuuuuge collar, she had a smaller one on but she could still reach a graze on her back leg and licked it until it bled.  Hopefully the collar will be off in 2 weeks time so she'll be a free cat!

Glad it's not just me, some of my friends have accused me of being soft and suggested a stannah stair lift!
