Hello my name is Shah and I'm a blue pewter persian. Not that you would know at the minute because my coat had to be shaved when I first came here because I had really knotty hair! I'm OK though because I snuggle up on the bed and my foster Mum says I'm a walking hot water bottle - whatever that is? I'm about 10 years old but don't let that put you off giving me a home because the vet woman said I'm really healthy and my teeth are in great condition.
I'm currently living with 3 other persians and I've just started playing with them now I know they like me. I was a bit wary of them at first because I was picked on at my last home by two other cats. I wasn't nasty with them though because I wouldn't know how to be.
My foster Mum has loads of toys for me to play with and my favourite game is ping pong ball in the bath - it's great!
Shah came into rescue through no fault of his own as his owner for many years sadly passed away last year. Since then he was living with a member of the family but they decided to rehome him because they couldn't give him the attention he deserves.
Shah is fully litter trained and will have had his full course of vaccinations before he is rehomed. He is currently being fostered in the Preston area. His ideal home would be with other gentle cats or alternatively a human friend who is at home most of the day.
Shah is to be rehomed as an indoor only cat or where the garden is fully cat-proofed.
Serious enquiries only.
A homecheck will be carried out and I ask for a voluntary donation so that I can continue to help needy furbabes. If anyone is interested in this gorgeous babe, you can either pm or email me, my details are in my profile :thanks:

poor Shah, its a shame how many naked persians seem to be around at the moment (including one belonging to a friend) I hope he finds someone who can look after all his needs including his fur

Oh dear, looks like OH is getting another set of kittybroody eyes from me later. Don't get your hopes up, he's only given in once
-
you know what to do CS!

What do you think I've been trying to do for the last few weeks :naughty: I'm sure he'll find a fab home, he is one gorgeous cat, so laid back and loving and whoever gets him will be extremely lucky :Luv2: :Luv2:

I think I am startnig to think cats are an addiction lol - because it is surely not reasonable that I am sitting wondering whether I could manage 3 :Luv2:
What a lovely boy - he is just gorgeous.
-
I have 3 (well 4 with Shah) :sneaky:
-
I know I know but I have only had my boys 6 weeks - so not really long enough for them to settle and they are life long companions (11 years old) so who knows how they would react to another cat - not to mention my OH :tired:

It's too far Mags sorry :( Shah isn't a good traveller at all, he cries constantly so ideally we don't want him to go too far.
-
Aww what a cutie. Think my OH would leave if I had another though we up to 6 already :innocent:
-
Awwww what a sweetheart :Luv2: :Luv2:
Shah is gorgeous :Luv2:
I am developing a serious love of persians :Luv2: :Luv2:

I am soooo jealous :Luv2: :Luv2:
So are you keeping this gorgeous boy? ;)
-
Lol, nope he is very special though :shy:
-
More pictures would help in my battle... more pictures for us to drool over are good too.
I'm guessing I'm too far too though at 130 miles. I hope he finds a nice home soon, OH really isn't buckling.
-
I'll get snapping! ;)
-
I've just asked OH.
He says when we get a bigger house and a garden more suitable to a multi MULTI cat household, then I can take in as many Persians as I want . . . . . . but I think that's a long way off at the moment. . . . . :sigh:
-
At least he didn't say no so theres hope but mine just says no no no :sad no: :sigh:

At least he didn't say no so theres hope but mine just says no no no :sad no: :sigh:
What my OH says is the kind version of NO - I think we are resigned to the fact that house prices in Brighton will mean that we will never be able to move up from our 3 bed Victorian terrace with postage stamp garden!
-
I would happily replace the OH with cats actually - hmmmm maybe I should start considering it!! But seriously this little man is so gorgeous and I will be so  of whoever is lucky enough to take home!! :Luv2:
-
I've had an enquiry about this gorgeous lad this morning, lady sounds lovely so watch this space :ok:
-
We're watching
Fingers/paws crossed!
;D
-
Fingers crossed and watching ;)
I am also soooooo jealous :sneaky:
-
Candice and I have had a chat to this lady and she sounds absolutely perfect :Luv: :Luv: All being well we will be doing the homecheck next weekend and will be taking Shah along with us. They are so in love with him, they don't even want to meet him first ;D We're both really pleased for him and I know Candice loves him to bits but this home sounds just perfect. We will keep you all posted and Candice will have to post lots of piccies over the next week so we can have our fix :sneaky: We're hoping Amanda will join us on the forum as well and she can give us regular updates about this gorgeous guy, and it's always nice to get to know other crazy cat people ;)
-
I'm chuffed to bits for him, Amanda is lovely and he will be spoilt rotten! :innocent:
Here's a piccie to keep you going......

-
Oh! I did a sharp intake of breath when I saw that picture! <swoon> :Luv2:
-
Aww what a cute pic. :Luv: so gald he may have a home ;D
-
That's really good news for Shah and don't get too upset Candice, I'm sure Dawn will find another furbabe for you to care for pretty quick :Luv2:
-
After chatting to Candice, she needs to concentrate on Fabes at the moment so the timing with Shah is just right. He's been no trouble bless him and if for any mad reason things don't work out, Candice is prepared to have the little munchkin back again until a home is found :Luv: :Luv: Fabes will need fluids for the forseeable future so this in itself is time consuming and she also has Foof and Solly to think about, but the good thing is, Shah will still have a place there if need be :) Reintroducing another at this moment wouldn't really be fair, all the babes have been fab and Shah has made a good friend in Solly but things are not always that straightforward.
-
Forgot about Fabes, hope he is feeling better.
-
I will be speaking to her later, hopefully the news is good and he's done another poo bless him and he can come home :wish:
-
We took Shah to his new home yesterday and he just settled in straight away. Just before we left he was snuggled on the sofa with his new Dad :Luv2:
His new kitty friend Amy was a bit scared and hissed but hopefully will settle in a few days once she realises he won't hurt her.
Amanda has promised lots of updates and hopefully will join here ;)

Aww thats great news ;D
