Title: Happy Birthday Meeko, Belle & Daisy!

A year ago today my Jasmine woke me up by scratching on the drawers under my bed. I sat up in the bed, she hopped up in beside me and within seconds there was a kitten at her side. The first born was Lucas (named by Mark here :) ), who sadly died when he was two days old. Next baby was Belle, closely followed by Meeko. I petted Jasmine and was sure I could feel another kitten inside her, rang the vets when it opened and they said no it wouldn't be, sometimes organs feel like kittens bla bla. Later in the afternoon I felt her again and knew it was a kitten so rang the vets and insisted they saw her. It was a kitten and she had to be rushed in for an emergency caesarean. Then Daisy was born.

It was a very eventful week, on Monday I took her to the vets and they said the kittens' arrival was imminent. She had them on Tuesday morning and had to have the casearean. Wednesday she didn't seem to be feeding them so I had to get a bottle and help her. On Thursday baby Lucas died, and on Friday I woke to blood all over the next and she had to be taken back in, go under anaesthetic and be restitched. Still it all worked out ok and the kittens are thriving.

The boys were so excited when they heard it was your birthdays' they rushed to put their little party hats on  - here they are at the mini massive party (well, there are 3 of you) held in your honour  :)

Thank you everybody! I got them some of those coley steaks earlier that I'd read about on here, and it's the one and only thing they've ever turned their noses up at!  :-:
So they had pilchards in tomato sauce instead and loooved them!
