Meet Alli
(http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn42/thealgernontrust/alli.jpg)
Alli was rescued at the request of Northampton Police when her human companion died suddenly; her age is unknown but the vet thought she was about 6 years old (she looks younger to me).
She hasn't been spayed yet. Alli is fairly self contained and not very forward with people, except when she's in season! She needs someone who is very patient and loving, that will wait for her to come round. Alli is extremely beautiful and I think she will make the right person a very loving friend. It would be prefered if she could go to a person or couple with no children where someone is at home all day.

I am just a little messenger on behalf of The Algernon Trust, but I expect Alli isn't neutered yet due to funds (or lack of!!) If a cat isn't neutered when it leaves the sanctuary, then the new owner must get them done. But they do try their hardest to get them done before leaving.
Don't worry about being nosey, I'm the same! ;)

I would tell them to ask CP or RSPCA for a voucher in that case. The neutering message has to be a cornerstone of rescue or else we are all doing this for nothing. :tired:

Ditto what Pinkbear has said....no disrespect to the Algernon Trust as they are doing a fantastic job helping these cats but they would be doing an even greater service and helping these kits out more by getting them done....Im sure someone on here could point them in the right direction for assistance! ;)

I do hope funding is sorted - neutering adults before they leave is soo important, and especially with a cat of that age, as if she is homed without and her owner lets her out, it could be quite bad for her. Also, you might want to ask them to inform their new owners to do a monthly breast check on her, as she will be of higher risk of mammary cancer later in life (average age is 10) and if picked up quickly enough, it can be dealt with.
