Are called Zylkene, he started them last night, one a day.
The blurb in the leaflet says:
Prolonged stressful periods or situations can lead to behaviour problems, particually associated with feed or digestive troubles, inappropiate urinations of defecation, fears, decreased of exploratory behavious, agression, irritability or stereotyped behavious such as licking or self-mutilation, and pacing.
Zylkene has been developed in order to help companion animals overcome stressful periods or situations such as "home alone", facing a new environment, new people or a new companion, convalesence or hospitalisation, laction, waening, holidays, travelling or whenever the pets routine is modified.
Zylkene contains a patented bioactive peptide that has been studies for many years thanks to collaboration with well known institiutes, and tested veterinarians specalising in behaviour problems.
I had to do a questionnaire on the phone with my vet about Jess's behaviour, and have to call her back in a month for a progress report.

Best of luck, hope it helps Jess

Fingers crossed.

Hope they work for Jess ;D

Interesting! - it says its a natural food product extracted from milk - casein, so classed as a 'neutraceutical' I guess - http://www.orsco.com/
Be interested to hear how Jess does on these, hope it does the trick

I've just spoken to our vet at work who said its not a drug as it is not a licensed medicine, but he is interested in how it'll work on Jess,

A very strange thing happened at work yesterday our vet brought over a rep to me who is responsible for Zylkene in the UK, it was really interesting to talk to him, he knows my Vet and our practice.
I think its working in Jess as well, he seems calmer even when we had thunder the other night he didn't jump, his tail is up more and his fur flatter, he certainly is more sociable.
-
Sounds like so far so good, and that's nice of the vet to arrange a meeting for you with that bloke from zylkene. it must be reassuring. Keep my everything crossed for Jess's continued improvement
-
Just an update, but I think its working, his weeing more than twice a day which is something Jess has never done before
