No - even I wouldn't call a cat cowpat!
Arrived this afternoon curtesy of Cas protection who are sorting out the other 5 from the same household (as in rehomes - not pregnant).
Cowpat is heavy with a litter of turds who will be arriving soon but not before the poor soul has been renamed!
She is 3 years old and on her third litter.
Who's on for a bet of a bunch of black and whites? :naughty:

Ahhhh bless her .... if you want to change her name and keep the "cow" theme how about Fresia (as in Fresian)
-
Bimey - where will they all go?! :-:
-
Poor lamb - what a name! >:(
I bet there will be either a rogue ginger or an unexpected tabby in that tummy . . . . :Luv2:
I liked the Fresia idea! A nice fragrant flower of a name :Luv2: , rather than a rather pungent dollop of cr*p!
-
my money is on a calico ;D they are always sneaky :shify:
-
Funny enough, I was just talking about calico character traits over on another thread :wow:
Having had 2 calico (dilute, at that!) persians, I would definitely say that there is something about that colour in the same way as tortoiseshell have a reputation, too!
Should we start a book on the number of kits and the colours?! ;)

NMisa is jumpimg up and down with indignation at that name and says how could anyone name a sister like that. Hesays she is so beautiful and dignified she deserves a name that is too and suggests Marishka.
-
Well.... I thought I'd heard of some gross names, but never that bad
Paws crossed that all goes well with the little sweetheart :Luv:
2 blacks, 2 B/W's, 1 ginger
-
Hmm - I say:
1 - black
1- black with white
1- white with black
1- ginger.
;)
-
Poor baby. You might get some greys, if either her or the father is carrying the dilute gene, and there is a chance of torties if dad is red. The weirdest one we have had is white and black mum, kittens were tabby, tortie, and dilute tortie.
-
I reckon, all black , b/w, grey an white but not trying the quanties
-
Angie
You and I know that black and whites are the most beautiful of all thats why we are both honoured to be full of them. The very strange thing is years ago I rescued a black and white and called her Cowpat Lil , sad but true.
She is very beautiful and as to her babies I think your prediction is a good one :)
-
Awwww bless her :Luv2:
Fresia suits her and she gorgeous :Luv:
As for the kittens hmmmmmmmmmmm ...... 3 B&Ws, 1 Black and 1 grey tabby :naughty:
Must stop getting broody :evillaugh:
Totally agree with Teresa that B&Ws are beautiful :Luv:
-
What an unfortunate name! some owners eh!
Good luck with the Kittens.
I agree with the other Fresia sounds much nicer.
-
Poor lamb - what a name! >:(
I've heard worse names. Someone I know got two ferret kits and named them "Fat Lad" and "T*W*A*T." (Which I was informed stood for tea white and two.) Poor ferrets.
She's lovely and Freesia is a good name. I think they'll be at least one pure black. :)
-
Aw, she looks lovely, too lovely for that name, although its not as bad as the cat that one of my friends had in junior school, poor thing was just called 'female'!
Good luck with the babies!
-
Give them some respect - give them a decent name poor baby.
How about Lucy? - she is a total babe - good luck with your babies sweet one xxxxxxx
-
What an awful name. My mate Lindsay used to have two dachsunds, way back, called Widdle and Puke.
-
he was obviously a Gerald Durrel fan then.
-
How's this little darling doing ... any sign of kittens yet?
-
I have been informed this morning that Petal has 5 kittens, born yesterday between 10 and 11-30 pm.
There are 3 black and whites and 2 blacks. (so far)
AND NO I DON'T KNOW THE SEX YET, OK?
-
Aww, good luck with them.
-
black and white girl and the other 4 boys.
-
Woo Hoo ... well done Petal. Fingers crossed Mum and babies will be fine xxxx
