Its just over two months since i had to have my lovely Willow PTS and although im alot stronger now,
I got really upset on the drive home as i really really miss seeing her orange eyes looking up at me :'(
I would give ANYTHING to have one last chance to hold her and kiss her again....
Thanks for listening

Aww, I am sorry things are still hard, it is such an awful place to be in. Things do get easier in time though, I promise.

Remember Our Love
I was chosen that day
I'm learning to fly
the world took me away,
but please don't you cry
And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don't you cry
and don't say that I'm gone
When you're feeling alone
just remember our love,
I'm up near the stars
looking down from above.
Remember our love
In a moment you'll see
that I'm still here beside you
when you're thinking of me.

They say time is a healer but at the same time you have those moments where you get those intense feelings of grief and you are never ready for them because they can happen at any time. You are with likeminded people here who can relate you how you are feeling. Sending lots and lots of
We lost Lucas in November and were heartbroken, I saw a rainbow on Monday and it is the first one I have seen since then and I hoped that it meant he was up there and was safe and it brought all the feelings back again.
Hope you are thinking of all the good memories soon and smiling again ;D xxxx

thank-you Helen for that lovely poem - bought a tear to my eye :Luv:
and thanks cheesecat and everyone for your supportive words
Its strange how the sad feelings can hit you at anytime, when you least expect it, and really overwhelm you.
I'm very thankful for my lovely friends on this website and for my lovely black cat Merlin! :naughty:

Sending you a big

Big hugs for you!
I remember how it felt when my first baby, Lucy got PTS, it was a long time ago but our whole house was knocked for six by the grief of it all and every so often something would happen to remind me and make me sad again. You can console yourself by knowing you gave your kitty a great life though!

It's really hard to cope with the loss of a furry friend and I have times like this when I miss Mathers, who had to be PTS in December. :'(
It does get easier though and the good times are always there to be recalled. :)
Big  to you

i know how you are feeling, i had to have my Tigger pts at the end of January and i still get sad about it, like today i was looking out of the kitchen window and i thought of him and how i miss seeing him come walking down the path and i just broke down and had a cry, so yes, it does hit you from time to time, it's getting easier but i have moments like that and really want him back, but i would'nt want him to suffer again.
Chris.
