Title: Any knitters?
Post by: Pinkbear (Julie) on March 13, 2008, 10:45:51 AM
Hi, peeps

Has anyone got a simple Catnip mouse knitting pattern?  :shify: One of our volunteers makes our mice, for sale on Ebay to raise funds, but the pattern she has is quite difficult with cables and stuff.

Ta!

I don't knit but I have done a search on the net and come up with a few .... of curse as a non-knitter I have no idea how easy or difficult they are

option one looks dead easy Sam, it is just garter stitch (i.e. plain knitting) for the whole thing. It simply uses one of those fluffy wools. If you used plain wool you would not get the fluffy appearance, but it would be dead simple ... :Luv:

Ta very much, Sam.  :wow: Sadly, I've forgotten most of what I knew about knitting, which was just enough to knit my babies their first cardies.  :briggin:

I shall pass these on to our lady and hopefully she finds them easier.  :sneaky:
