Title: Oh no - nature's menu has gone up!
Post by: Susanne (urbantigers) on March 11, 2008, 21:19:48 PM
Went to PAH today, mainly for a browse and to check out the NM (surely we're due for another special offer!) and was alarmed to find that the 48 pouch packs of NM were now £18 something instead of £16 something :(  It's hardly worth buying the big packs at that price (the boxes of 12 pouches were £4.69 or thereabouts).  I'm concerned that if/when PAH put the 48 pouch packs on special offer they will be £15 - £16 rather than the £13 we all know and love  >:(

I have paid nearly £20 for the big box ordered through a local petshop though.

That is making the PAH price sound better.

I wish they would hurry up and get their web-site up and running  :tired:

I rad an article recently saying that all the petfood manufacturers are really pushing the "premium" market as far as it will go as they know people will spend on pets. Apparently, Nature's Menu is the largest growing brand - so if anything, their costs are going down. It's a big hike.

Anyway, none of mine would touch it and I gave it away.

I don't recall how much the 12 pouch packs used to be, but it was either £4.69 - £4.79 as it is now, or £4.39.  The 48 pouch packs that are exclusive to PAH used to be a good deal even when they weren't on offer, but it looks like that is mainly what they've got rid of.  There seems little advantage now to buying the large packs if it doesn't work out any cheaper.
