I'm sure there used to be a button to report as offensive but couldn't see anything. There is a video some American teenagers made of a cat that is already dead in the road. One of the girls is saying "kick it, kick it" - the girl kicked it and was complaining she had blood on her shoe >:(
Thankfully, all of the comments are against the girls but surely there should be a way of reporting offensive videos and getting them removed?
btw - I happened on this one while I was trying to see if there were any more in the "wake up" series.
-
There is a flag button under the video on the right hand side - maybe thats it
-
I couldn't see anything like that  - maybe they changed it?
-
Can you post a link to it hun so I can see and we can all report it then
-
I can't find it now as I wasn't searching for dead cats before. I will have to see if I can find it but won't post it as it's horrible.
However, when I tried to find it again, I did find this "dead cat" video that is cute (It's not really dead btw :evillaugh: )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpRqb-itrU8&feature=related
I will try to find the other one later but I realised it's 3pm and I haven't done a thing - I need to get working :scared:
-
Awwwwww thats a cute kitty

MrsR is right, the 'Flag' icon just underneath the video screen on the right-hand side is for 'inappropriate' content but you need to be logged in to see and use it. YouTube will only consider taking down videos if they are flagged so it's worth doing.

See the pink arrow

Yes I've seen it now thanks - the problem is I can't find the video now. In trying to search, I hav seen some really horrible stuff so will give up now :(
I was wondering where youtube is based because if it is American, they would probably count bare breasts as offensive but not mutilation :tired:

Or rare Lulu music video... :innocent:
Or perhaps someone already reported it and taken off??? If it was an recent addition that's possible. Did you see the date?

I know what you mean about some of the content on YouTube. Animal abuse is vile and disgusting and videos showing this shouldn't be allowed on any website. >:(
YouTube is based in America and their guidelines on animal abuse videos are rather vague. :tired:

My son has been talking about clips he's seen on another site of the marines etc killing dogs in Iraq, the sick little :censored: :censored: Anyway, I just made the mistake of going on there, and one of the first ones I came across was a US soldier throwing a puppy off a cliff :censored: :censored: :censored: Are these people really that sick that they get their kicks out of torturing innocent animals >:( >:( >:( I really wished I hadn't looked now to see what he was talking about :'( :'(

I used to have this idea that Americans were generally decent but my views have shifted a long way recently >:(

It's bad enough that sick :censored: do this kind of thing but for incidents like these to be filmed and put online for others to watch is just beyond. >:(

I've just found the clip he was referring to now :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

And they are probably hailed as heroes when they go home >:( :censored: :censored:

rather more effective than reporting to Youtube would be reporting to the relevant military authority and the american animal welfare organisations. They are in a position to stop this sort of behaviour. Youtube is ony in a position to prevent the evidence from being shown internationally.

True - although whether they will act on it is another story. Maybe contact USA today or something?

now there's a plan :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Great idea Mark, and I've just had a petition concerning the puppy incident, and I've posted it in the appropiate section.
