Happily, yes - just trouser fur - poor little sausage - and just when he was congratulating himself on his progress over the year too. Aaahhh - we love ya, Pickford! :care:

can someone put link on to diary cos i can't find it thanks
-
I dont think you can link to it but I will try.
You can find it by going to the catchat link, putting cursor under the pictures at top and it witll be a menu in sections. The first one, go to bottom lone and a new menu will come up and Daily diary is at top.
Gosh that sounds complicated LOL and its not. Will see if I can tput a link in LINKS ;D

The link has been added and it works ;D ;D ;D

I panicked a bit when I read this because I have a very soft spot for Pickford and was very pleased that he's gotten away with a slight singe! Lucky Pickford.

yep found it thanks gill
:thanks:

silly pickford .. what happened ?
BUT
speaking of setting himself on fire..who had a lovely singed paw on xmas day (when i noticed it anyway)
YEP
you guessed it, stupid boy must have caught the candle flame !!! oh well xmas over no candles on now. Lucky he didnt blister his pads though and so much for me thinking most cats have an inbuilt fear of danger..HA HA codys either very brave or very stupid..the latter i suspect
-
Sorry Bobjay - didn't mean to panic anyone!
Lynn - he walked across the gas cooker while it was on - evidently at Catchat Towers they share (not!) my love of cooking and very rarely use their cooker, so Pickford often patrols the top on his way round the benches - only this time, the hob was lit and pans were on it, and he singed his trouser fur......!
-
Flynn, our old cat, wafted his tail next to a lit candle and it was on fire! He was totally oblivious and I was nearly past myself with fright. No harm done, but what a pong! He was also the one who shot up our chimney after knocking over the firescreen. It took nearly three weeks to finally get the soot washed out of his fur. Tsk! Cody would have got on well with Flynn!
-
honestly bloomin cats..you'd think HEAT would spell danger to them wouldnt you !!
cody kept playing tennis with the flame sue, i kept him away or shut him out if i nipped out of the room but obviously not this time, only noticed it when parents came with pressies on xmas day...saw a golden colour on his white paw (underside of it) on closer inpsection it was all singed.
had to quickly shove cody off when he's been about to walk on the cooker aswell...thank god i dont have a coal fire anymore thats all i can say.
