Might be best to do a search on this, as it has been covered loads of times, and quite recently.

Really? OK. I guess I need a bit of input regarding LJ, but wasn't sure who else on here has a diabetic cat!

Have changed the title for you, or it will get swamped in a debate about food - I can only think of one person offhand who has a diabetic cat, whcih is Liz. You might also want to post on CC, we did have one member on there who had a diabetic cat. Have you tried the prescription food for diabetes?

From what I've read about diabetic cats, they need a high protein, low carb diet - so really that rules out dry food as its very high in carbs, so I'd go for a high meat content wet food, the closer you get to a cats natural diet the better I reckon.  ;D This article makes interesting reading and has links to more info as well http://www.catinfo.org/felinediabetes.htm

Would love to. Any idea how to keep the other three cats off it while ensuring a "normal" feeding routine? They all eat together.
