Found this - it made me sad, probably because its far too easy to imagine this kind of thing happening.

Made me cry, but I thought that it was worth posting if it helped people to think about what might happen to 'free to good home kittens' and kittens advertised on freeads/in papers.

I know, it won't apply to most but theres a chance it could make a difference with someone. Maybe I should start emailing it to people advertising free kittens..

That made me cry too, but thanks for posting it, as you say, good to show to everyone who advertises kittens "free".

so sad

it just reinforces the need for spaying and neutering.
it's so unfair on the poor cats who have no choice but to continually give birth and raise litter upon litter of kittens.

Sad as it may be, it does go on, and if words like that can make just one owner rethink their actions, then it has to be worthwhile.

I think that would be a good idea too, I think some people just don't realise what could happen when they give kittens away to 'good homes'.
