For those of you who may have read my thread on Cat Chat entitled "Overactive thyroid and loss of appetite" unfortunately it was not to be a positive outcome. However, the friends that I made and the advice that I received was invaluable and I shall be forever grateful.
Unfortunately I cannot upload pictures - have tried but failed, I keep getting an error message saying my file is too large.
They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as we are called one by one, the chain will link again
Cleo you were beautiful, it was a pleasure and privilege to know you.
Cleo loved evey minute of her life and lived it to the full.
To the greatest Manx cat that ever lived.

Yvonne, beautiful poem, if you'd like I can either try and teach you how to put pics up or if you'd rather, just email them and I'll pop them up for you - only takes a minute once you've got the hang of it.
-
So sorry . RIP Cleo.
wanna email me some piccys and I'll try?
-
RIP Cleo, Benji will take care of her at the Bridge until you come for her xx
-
So sorry for you Yvonne and god bless Cleo.

Thank you for your kind thoughts.
I liked the poem as well, I have ordered a plaque for Cleo's grave and I think that is the wording on it.
Thank you to Angie and Rebecca for offering to help with photos. I don't even know if my e-mail can support photos I think I have tried in the past, I dont pay a subscription, it is a frreebie so I think there is not enough space to support photos but I shall try when the server is back on line as it is down at the moment.
The message on my pictures is:
dimension 2048 x 1536
size 1.15 MB
Have a good weekend everybody
As ever thanks for caring xxx

Thanks Angie - much appreciated,
Of course I got the wrong photo those two are not Cleo! How on earth are you suppose to tell what the photo is without seeing a picture? However, luckily it was a pair of cats and not a pair of swans!
Maybe this`would be an appropriate time to introduce Spotty and Spike - I realise it is the wrong thread, but I don't think anybody will mind.
Spotty came to us about five years ago, he just walked through the cat flap and made my house his home - not sure how old he is but definitely one of the family now. Spike is my son's cat, he is four months old and full of mischief, he chases Spotty everywhere and all he wants is a quiet life.
But I love my cats as we all do on this site,
once again thanks Angie - much appreciated.

RIP Cleo

Christmas cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one wish to make
A special one for you
Merry Christmas darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dreams
I'm Christmas-ing with you
The lights on my tree
I wish you could see
I wish it every day
Logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say
That I wish you a Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I really wish I were with you
Cleo I miss you so much, our first Christmas apart, feeling really sad - take care babe xxx
