Title: Poor cat dead in RTA
Post by: alisonandarchie on March 05, 2008, 12:05:46 PM
Just found a poor dead black cat on the grass verge. It must have been killed instantly :'( Could not see a collar. I get so angry because drivers speed like anything on the piece of road even though its 30. >:(  Local residents have been asking for ages for speed calming measures to be put in place. >:(

Just really fee for the owners who probably don't yet know.

So, so sad :'(

It is very sad poor little thing, the owners are probably going out their minds looking for their baby.

Had the same situation. Vet scanned the body and poor love was chipped. In fact the owner had already reported the cat missing to the vet. Vet was able to ring her with the sad news.

RIP little one and  to the owners

Poor kitty,

My Dad called me yesterday saying there was a dead black and white cat in the road outside our house, I think it belonged to the man opposite. Fortunately when I got home the poor kitty had been moved,

Its so sad though

So sad, RIP little cat.  We have a road like that nearby us, it is long and straight and joyriders use it to do handbrake turns.  The speed limit is 30 but the police put a device down for three days once and the average speed was 48mph with some at 70!

Thats terrible, a person or animal would not stand a chance crossing the road >:(

I get so angry when drivers won't slow down. If that was my cat I would crumble and die of sadness. RIP black kitty.
