She was sick before breakfast this morning, and then brought up all her breakfast after eating (I maybe should have held off feeding her, but she is never sick), so as she had been sick so much, I whizzed her up to the vet - I have had her 2 years, and she is very rarely sick, and never that amount. Vet said she felt a bit gassy, so gave her a couple of jabs, and said to giver her a couple of hours and feed her sensitivity food, so have some chicken defrosting in case she doesnt like it!! If no better, she has to go back for antibiotics. I haven't fed her again yet, as they only get two meals a day, and she isn't asking for anything, she is happily sleeping. She wasn't very nice at the vets though, she did go for the vet, whcih is unusual for her, she isn't an aggressive cat, just hisses and growls a lot. Fortunately, she had her annual bloods in Jan, so we know that she was perfectly healthy then.

Hope you're fully recovered very soon, Molly.
-
Awww, poor Molly, I hope she's feeling much better later on
-
Thanks, I probably overreacted, but she is 15 and is never sick. She absolutely hates going to the vet though, so I hope I dont have to take her back tomorrow for antibiotics - they will have to be injection form, as lovely as she is with me, everything is on her terms only, worming tablets are bad enough, never mind daily ones.
-
Awwww sending get well soon vibes x
-
hope you're feeling better Molly and don't need to go back to the Vet.
-
Thanks, she has come to sit on my knee now, so has had a kiss from all of you. She seems fine in herself, just not pestering for food despite bringing up her brekkie. Mind you, she isnt the kind of cat that asks for food unless I am late home, even in the morning, she can be convinced to come back under the duvet for cuddles rather than get up for food.
-
Sending you both lots of
-
Thanks - she has asked for some food now, so has been given half a pouch of RC Sensitivity and just watching her now in case she is sick again.
-
Hope she keeps her food down this time :Luv:
-
She is, but the little butter is now holding her paw up - she does this occasionally, but vet said it is best being x-rayed while acting her up, and it normally comes and goes before we have chance to get up there. I am at the vets with Frankie on Fri, I really dont fancy 3 trips in one week!!
-
She's having a little game with you today methinks, being a little madam ;)
-
She is, as she has eaten a bit more and now sat normally. Sulking as she has no cat bed on the windowsill, but it was the only one I missed on Sat, so seeing as I had some more cat stuff to wash (wash their stuff separate to mine), I chucked it in (George had been sick yesterday too, thank god I didn't get round to washing his blanket yesterday). She was sick sooner after eatig than this this morning, so hopefully it means she is fine.
-
Hope all is well :Luv:
-
Thanks - she is having a play now, which is good. She had put a bit of weight on when we went to the vets, she did'nt say anything, but she has sat in bad positions this afternoon and looked a bit on the chubby side, so am going to watch her.
-
Hope Molly has kept her food down and doesn't need to go back to the vets Des
-
Sending healing vibes for Molly~~~~~~~

No more sick, and I have given her normal food this morning, and she is sat on my knee for her morning fusses, so think she is OK now.
-
Fab news! ;)
-
That's great news Desley ;D
-
Gave her NM again (which is what she had on Mon) and she brought it back up, so it is either one flavour she can't tolerate, or NM full stop - will leave it a few weeks then try a different flavour, fortunately, I haven't done my bulk buy yet, as it isn't Zi's favourite food. IF she can't tolerate it at all (she has been eating it over a year though), I will have to find an alternative food for her. Doesn't explain why she was sick before eating though, but at least she had bloods done in Jan, so we didn't have to panic in case it was organ related.
-
Hope you can sort out something for her. NM made Charlie really ill
-
I can't really understand it though, as it is the main food they have, and she has been eating it for ages now, I have had the car 2 years in June, and they have been getting it the majority of that time as I could finally get hold of it. Looks like I am looking for anothe food they both like - I would ideally like a high meat content food in SEnior, but the only one I know is HiLife senior pate, and that is really hard to get hold of, and works out mega expensive - last time I bought it, it was £3.19 for 8 small tins, and I Think they are too small for the girls to share (they share pouches)
-
Do you think they may have changed any of the ingredients in NM Des?
-
The packaging is different now, but we are still on the old box. I did wonder if it was just one flavour, so I will try again in a few weeks - we have a full box, so someone is goign ot have to eat it. One good thing with fostering, I can always find someone to eat the food!! Although have donated a bit of dry food to the rescue after admitting defeat, and am hoping the oldie coming next week will like PAH senior!!
-
How's Molly today Des?
-
Fine, I have bought her Asda Tiger Senior and HiLife pate. Her and Zi are still getting on well, I had Molly on my chest and Zi at the side of me this morning. She was playing well last night.
-
Thats sounds good ;D
-
That's good
-
Awwwww good news ;)
-
Thats great news :Luv:
-
Noticed a couple of baldish patches on her last night, one on her leg, and one on the underneath of her tail - neither are that obvious cos of her colouring, it was only cos she was playing i noticed them. I am in two minds whether to take her to the vet or not, they aren't red or bothering her, and they aren't completely bald. My vet is more than likely going to say it is stress (she uses that a lot cos of me fostering), so I might give it a few more days and see if it is growing back well (she did have a few days where George was bothering her cos he wanted to be on the bed, but we shut the door at night now so no one can bother her). She was holding her paw up a bit last night, but it didn't stop her playing, so can't be that bad (vet wanted to x-ray it when it was an issue after Tigers issues, but she only ever does it in the evening or at night, and it is always fine when the vets are open!!)
-
Hope there is no problem and her fur is ok also her paw.
-
She's not been holding her paw up since, and has just pinched some of Zi's NM, so fingers crossed she isn't sick. No sign so far.
-
Stealing the other cats food - always a good sign. ;) Hope Molly is 100% soon.
-
Great to hear Des
-
She's a little tinker isn't she :Luv: Hope all is well with her
-
Sending positive vibes for Molly Des~~~~~~~ ;)

WEll, i haven't found any sick, so it must have either been the flavour of NM (I buy mixed boxes), or jsut a one off pouch
