Title: Mark or anyone else with experience of arthritis in cats.
Post by: CurlyCatz on February 29, 2008, 21:05:40 PM
I said mark as i think i recall he is dealing with this through alice, however i know some more of you will be able to help also.

theres a poster on catchat who was asking about metacam, i have dealt with her initially however she has also enquired about additional supplements and i am about to log off as i have a busy day tomorrow and must go and get everything ready for everyone so if anyone who can deal with this would be good enough to leave her a few helpful tips it would be much appreciated .. thanks

Sorry Lynn but I haven't managed to get either tabs or powder down Alice. The tabs are huge and she won't eat if I put the powder on her food. The only Glucosamine I get get into her is in the Eagle Pack dry food she has - probably not enough though. I am also getting her a reflective heat pad from ebay as it is supposed to help.

I got Tom one last week Mark from PAH but it makes crinkly noises that he doesn't like  :-:  Also bought him a small dog bed so he can stretch out better. At least that seems to be OK ;D

I'll bear that in mind as I don't think Alice will like it either. She has a dog bed on the floor by the radiator but she won't lie on it, she lies up against the edge  - The only time she gets on it is to "milk" it then gets off again
