Title: With a heavy heart....
Post by: Ziggy on January 03, 2007, 13:44:59 PM
......I've decided that I am going to try rehoming my gorgeous little girl. Her relationship with my other cat has got no better in all the time I've had them, and I don't feel that I'm doing the best I can for her.

Has anyone here had much success in rehoming a slightly older (around 7), non-pedigree cat?

If it was up to me, I'd keep her for life, but I hate to see her unhappy.

Hi

I foster, and we have homed older cats - the oldest so far being 13. We did have an 8-10 year old that was only with us a couple of weeks, but the 13 year old had been with us for 14.5 months, so it might not happen overnight, but fingers crossed.

I am sorry to hear that you will have to rehome her. How long have you had her and your other cats?
