Pls check out the rehoming site for Siamese cat rescue.. they have several siamese looking for homes, some are in Kent..
Also Simon the siamese and his buddy are still waiting for their forever home at Bredhurst.. Cannot believe it i thought they would of gone in a matter of days..
I am still smitten with that lovely Snowshoe!!! If only....!

Indeed! If only (sigh) :innocent:

I suppose it depends on the people applying for the cats Sharon, I was turned down a while back because I was told a siamese couldn't live with my bengal
-
Why an earth not?
Siamese are very companionable cats. very people orientated, but seem to get on with most other breeds.. Burmese are much worse.. So why was you turned down...?

there are people out there with very peculiar attitudes about what goes with which. Each cat is an individual and should be assessed on its own merits. I have had serious neurotic siamese who neither shut up nor stop rampaging throug the house 24/7, and others whose idea of heaven was to sleep all day ... I do hate it when people generalise ... it is counterproductive, because sure the idea is to find a good, loving, caring home for an animal ...

some people just don't like bengals I think - when I got my torti girl from the rspca they first said we couldn't have her because we had a bengal and they wouldn't get on the woman actually said "a bengal yuk" anyway after six weeks when amber was cosntantly overlooked they changed their minds and let us take her! for the record they love each other and even clean each others faces!
