My Brother and his Girlfriend adopted a cat today :cheer:
You know i had that cat dumped with me earlier in the week well i took it to a local rescue place. At this rescue there was a 15yr old cat who had been given up as the brats sorry i meant children kept pulling her about !!!
She had been with her owners since she was 6wks old -
Anyway was telling my Brother about her today and saying its so sad as no one wants to take a cat on of the age and my Brother said "i'll have her "
So we went round and saw her and they collect her tomorrow (after home check)
:cheer: :cheer:
-
So glad she is going to people who will appreciate her!
-
Fantastic! ;D
How on earth do you have a cat for 15 years then give them up like that? I just don't understand people sometimes :mad2:
-
Pulled around by the :censored: children for 15 yrs and then they decide to get rid of her!! >:( How can some people be so shitty!!!!!!!!!!! :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: Susanne, I am annoyed too.

The children are only 2yrs old and 6mths !!!
So its a case of "cat has lived there for 15yrs and now along come the kids so kick cat out " :censored:
Apparently the owner said that the 2yr old terrorises the cat and the 6mth old kid will probably start soon :censored: What is wrong with these people, for :censored: sake ?? Teach children to respect animals and if they dont LOCK THEM IN A CUPBOARD AND WITH-HOLD FOOD :evillaugh: (The kids not the cat LOL)

Poor cat - at least your brother stepped in. At that age, it must be hard for them. What f'ing heartless B'stards :censored:
-
Well done to your brother and his girlfriend, Reggie looks gorgeous, very much like my recently lost Kay-Cee.
Hugs and head butts from me next time you see him.
(To Reggie not your brother)

My sentiments exactly Mark!
So pleased Reggie will have the home she deserves.
-
Michelle, Reggie is beautiful - bless her she will be so happy with your brother instead of the ruddy kids :censored: :censored: :censored:
The times I've told kids off in the streets for attempting to hurt cats and dogs it's a wonder they've not reported me to childline :evillaugh:  Don't care.

Reggie is a fine looking cat - lucky brother!!!
-
Well done to your brother for giving Reggie a loving forever home :)
Reggie is gorgeous :Luv:
-
She is lovely, I am glad they gave an older cat a chance, and I am sure she will be much happier now.
-
They picked her up last night.
She walked round the flat purring, rubbed up against them, eat a bowl of dinner, used her litter tray and then jumped up on the bed and went to sleep !!
So i think she approves :Luv: :evillaugh:
-
That's great but surprising as you would expect an older cat to be confused. Maybe she knows she is better off :Luv2: - glad she's happy :Luv:
-
Great news ;D :Luv:
-
Oh gosh she's gorgeous and it sounds as if she knows which side her bread is buttered :evillaugh: What a lovely brother you have ;D
-
Wonderful news. What an honour it must be to be accepted straight off, but they deserved it. What a happy ending :) :) :)
-
Aren't cats brilliant? :Luv2: What a clever girl, she knows where she's well off.

Bless her, wouldnt find a kitten that tidy and well trained, oldies rock :Luv:

It is amazing how well oldies can settle - I made the mistake of homing one on Bonfire Night one year, as the date slipped my mind, and she was fine, sat on the sofa with them, and she was 13.
