Kay Cee passed away in her sleep in the early hours of this morning. We are heartbroken and angry. At least she is at peace now and with her many brothers and sisters, playing on the Bridge.
I love you my first little rescue girl - I'm sorry I let you down. Rest in Peace my Kay Cee.

Thank you everyone for your lovely thoughts. I feel I let her down by not pushing my Vets but I suppose, really, it was them that let me down. Well, it was for the last time as I will not be using them anymore. Will be moving to Vets in Portsmouth who already have offered me 20% discount for all treatment on my rescue animals and last year gave me loads of food and frontline free, so I will reward them for their kindness and spend my well earned pennies with them in the future, and it is quite alot of pennies that get spent on my vets bills so hopefully my old vet will miss me.
My other Vets has just been taken over by a company called CVS anyway, so probably a good time to move.

Lesley if you are not happy with the treatment that Kay Cee received you need to let the Vet know, what age was Kay Cee?
I have learnt from hard experience that there is at least one Vet at my Vet practice that I will not go to and I have the confidence now to tell the Receptionist that I do not want to see Vet X, they do not mind in the slightest and I gather they are used to various clients requesting their favourite Vets, however, I do accept that in an emergency I may have to encounter Vet X and there is little that I can do about that.
Good luck with the new Vet and yes it does look like a good time to move.

Don't worry Yvonne, the Vet knows, I made sure of that. I actually used to work there, which makes it worse.
Kay Cee's age was not known as she was my first rescue, but her story is on another thread here; basically she needed a dental and never got one because she was shown to have corona virus and the Vet did not want her in his hospital "contanimating" it.
